The premiere was down by 50%, when compared to last season’s debut. However, that was on a Monday night and this season’s debut was on opposite the 7th World Series game so we’ll have to wait until next week to get a good idea of how many people are truly tuning in. Having said that, this is still a lousy start for the season.
Reference point: The 2010-11 season averaged a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.19 million viewers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Chuck TV series? Do you think it should end or return for a sixth season?

CHUCK should definitely be renewed for a sixth or more seasons, it certainly scored high on my list and kept me interested for the whole duration of its 5-year span. I’ve suspected from the start that Sarah’s affections for Chuck Bartowski were more than just cover feelings and I was glad to see her develop them for real in mid-season 3 and to consummate their newest romantic relationship with the crown jewel – the wedding in the following season.
Let’s hope that NETFLIX or some other good network in the present, shows some interest in the revival.
I would love to see season six for chuck. Perhaps an added bonus would be a Jeffster
Song or two!
That would be awesome if they made a season 6 of chuck that show is awesome and then we would know if chuck and Sarah get back together and what happens to everyone know I don’t have anything to watch

I just discovered Chuck on Netflix and it is an ‘awesome’ show and I am so sorry to discover that it only got 5 years on TV. NBC what is wrong with you that a great show like this one does not get more time ?
