Could Code Black make a comeback after all? According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS is considering renewing the cancelled TV show.
As reported earlier, the network cancelled the medical drama this year after three seasons. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Luis Guzmán, Boris Kodjoe, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, William Allen Young, Emily Tyra, Noah Gray-Cabey, Emily Alyn Lind, Moon Bloodgood, and Rob Lowe.
During this summer’s TCA press conference, CBS Entertainment chief Kelly Kahl revealed the network is figuring out how to do a fourth season of Code Black:
It’s doing incredibly well. It’s a well-done show. We’d like to figure out a way to maybe make it work.”
While nothing final has been decided, Kahl did say CBS is looking into another season.

My husband and I love Code Black and have rooted for it all along! We were SO happy we got a 3rd season and SO sad when it was cancelled! Rob Lowe is a great addition and we love all the cast. It’s an amazing show! PLEASE bring it back!!!!
Yes absolutely!! I love the show! If you read people’s comments you’d see how many people love this show and can’t figure out why it was caceled and were really upset about it being canceled!
Yes! Renew Code Black!! I’m looking forward to it getting a possible return. It’s a great show and one that should never have been canceled to begin with. A lot of fans of the show including me I’m sure were very upset by the cancelation of the show. As were the actors /actresses.
This is the best show on television! Please bring it back! There are so few shows of quality any more, To have this one cancelled leaves me a bit dumb rounded.
