Last season, Continuum’s ratings were slightly higher than they had been in season one. Will they continue to grow or will they fall in season three? Will this Syfy series be renewed for a fourth season or will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned!
Continuum revolves around a female police officer (Rachel Nichols) from the future who gets caught up in a conflict that spans between 2012 and 2077. The cast also includes Victor Webster, Erik Knudsen, Stephen Lobo, Roger Cross, Lexa Doig, Tony Amendola, Omari Newton, Luvia Petersen, Jennifer Spence, and Brian Markinson.

What do you think? Do you like the Continuum TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a fourth season?
CONTINUUM is a really great show, great story, and has top-notch actors. Besides being fascinating and riveting, this show is a very relevant story that should be paid attention to beyond its strength as an entertaining story; the message is as as much about our own times as it is about the future. And it is by no means simple-minded: Self-righteousness and corruption exist on both sides of the story, as well as goodness and noble intentions.
CONTINUUM is a show that more than deserves to be continued for very, very long time!!!
Continuum DVD-Blu Ray sales are good. Has a great fan base. Writers, producers all veterans of Outer Limits and other great shows. put blame where it belongs. No advertising. It is on late Friday, the worst slot, and it still holds it’s own. The show is great. It is and will be a “cult” status TV series given a little support. PLEASE do not throw away a great show with good money potential for another bigger gamble. Continuum given a decent budget and time slot is in a same league as Orphan Black, Defiance, Helix, American Horror, and of corse… Read more »
riginal, unpredictable, action packed and Brilliant! Continuum has all the ingredients of a great TV show. Everyone that I have “introduced” to the show have become huge fans. The only problem I see is that very few people that I know have heard of Continuum. That is not the shows fault. It is the stations that air it. Renewing Continuum should be a “no-brainer”. We now live in a big Science Fiction audience time. Most of the successful shows are now SyFy. Continuum In my opinion is in the top 5. For the budget I am guessing that they work… Read more »
Continuum is a brilliant show with creative ( and unexpected ) plot development. A quality production that challenges our imaginations. It’s problem is easy to solve. Friday night for any show is a death sentence. It killed Star Trek, Firefly, and many other good shows. I have not seen any promotion for this show. Aside from that everybody who sees it, really likes it. With all the handicaps SyFy Channel gives it I feel it does extremely well considering 10pm Friday night slot. SyFy, Showcase, needs this show to keep its quality of programing to the highest standards. You have… Read more »
Wonderful show – awesome characters, good hard classic sci fi. Unfortunately the plot veers off on too many tangents to keep a wide audience from being confused. Keep a reasonably simple elegant storyline while adding tantalizing bits of sci fi ideas without disturbing main plot – then explore a new tangent next season – keep your viewers satisfied. This makes the “LOST ” mistake without that big audience protection – too many confusing directions at once. At heart, most people like a good story with a clear storyline. Why does Future Alex send her back? That main premise dissappears with… Read more »
Renew! Renew! Renew!
this is the most addictive series ever. better than 24 with a storyline that can build on for over 10 years. maybe more. awesome cast. best cast they are excellent at what they all do.
This must be renewed. its the only reason i have a cable connection.
Continuum is an AWESOME SERIES!!! The Season three cliff hanger was astounding and kept you waiting until the last minute… NBC PLEASE Don’t be like Fox and kill great shows. I watch this over the Defiance something the mystery drama are great in accompanying the eye poppping and highly detailed visual effects put a show like “Falling Skies” kinda in the stone age… the great show that it is as well. This one has the chance and real vision of being a “Blade Runner” on the small screen in terms of a “cine-realistic” future… out of the soo few really… Read more »
Who cares about Syfy’s ratings? I gave up on watching that network when they stopped being about quality programming and Science Fiction. Fantasy isn’t Science Fiction and every good show with a real plot they’ve canceled. I watch the show on Netflix and frankly, I’ve just about convinced myself that the real answer is to just buy the season from iTunes. I’m this close to cutting the cable, it’s almost there. I’m giving Google two years and then we will see.
Syfy is NBC and NBC is the worst content provider on the planet.
I love the show but, whatever the final decision is I just hope they run at least a closing for the story. I’m tired of watching shows that producers just let the whole story hanging up without an ending and without paying any respect for the audience.
love this show it has all the elements of syfy. The acting is great and storyline keep you hang on I can’t stop watching this by far one of my favorite shows on syfy
This show offers one of the potentially most intriguing plots currently for sci fi lovers currently on TV. The writers can actually go off in any direction because none of the common parameters found in other shows actually exist in this one.
Rachel Nichols is perfect for the role, beautiful and deadly when necessary, while in season 3 she has lost the need to return to a future that might have needed change. She has accepted her current role to ‘put things right’ where she now finds herself.
Great show.
There remains so many avenues of exploration yet to take, it’s hard to think that the writers have run dry with fresh ideas. But nevertheless, there are several keys to the shows early success that cannot be abandoned because they imparted a sense of real power to the creative staff. For example, I found it intriguing whenever an element of Kiera’s future (her past) became the focus of a current plot. My point is that there are some things that should not be abandoned just for the sake of taking a new direction for the sake of making a statement.… Read more »
I thought that this was the best season yet. Rachel has a sexier and more foreboding presentation in the third season. They’ve even made her face more beautiful. I like the development in the plot. The double Alex was getting long in the tooth, but at least “bad” Alex did finally die. Now we only have to worry about the uncertainties of just one Alex. I can hardly wait for season 4. Rachel’s personality is finally coming into its own. She’s becoming a more intriguing character outside the party line. Not being able to anticipate her next move really draws… Read more »
Saw the shoe on Netflix and I am NOT a fan. The pro-corporate propaganda is over the top BS. understandable why it had a 30% drop in ratings.
I thought the show was anti-corporate while you thought it was pro-corporate.
I guess the writers are doing a good job of balancing the political views if we disagree.
Extremists on both sides are not glorified. And they shouldn’t be in my personal opinion. Both sides can be wrong.
It’s clearly anti-croni-capitalist which is the true conservative point of view. Kiera has the same view as myself: We are pro-honest corporations & anti-croni-corrupt corporations… it’s not a “left/right” issue & that’s why Continuum is an important show that needs to continue!
Did you actually watch the “shoe”? It is in no way “pro-corporate”. Season 3 even contains very thinly veiled highly critical references to Monsanto’s crop engineering practices. How did you miss that?
