NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
Funny,I somehow knew they would cancel Crisis. This is not the first time a good series gets cancelled on NBC. I used to love watching Chase with Cole Hauser and it also got cancelled. But, at least they did air their 18 episodes I believe it was 18. Some episodes I liked more than others from Crisis. I watched just to see a semi regular actor whom I’m a huge fan of. And I felt with him on the show those episodes were the best, my favorites. I really hope they gave it a proper ending for the only season… Read more »
Enjoyed the show but feel the story line destined it to end in one season
This is good show.At least finish the season first.
OK I lied, I do have more to say, I believe that everyone is and should be entitled to having an opinion, most of us strongly believe that NBC should be boycott, can’t say that’s a bad idea. The sad part is we’re going to hurt ourself over and over again by getting attached to other network and other shows, we have to make them understand that they are the representation of a flag and we are the symbol and without the symbol the flag is meaningless, before boycotting try to contact them and share your thoughts like………before taking on… Read more »
NBC this is totally insane to do what you did and how you did it. Bad form NBC, bad form! Believe and Crisis was decent television without all the obscene crapp that’s on now a days. I can’t even express how angry I am.
This has to be a mistake! Crisis, Castle and Turn are the only shows my family currently watches. This show has us on the edge of our seats the full hour. My son once said ” I have to wait a week for the next episode?”. At least let your faithful see the remaining episodes. Hopefully, another network will pick up where NBC let down.
Totally crazy not to let the season of Believe and Crisis finish. What, those of us who are watching don’t matter? This is just wrong how you did it NBC.
NBC just ruin tv shows for me, i will not watch another tv show untill they are on the last season an i can get it on DVD, whats the point of getting attach to a show when deep down you know it could be cancelled the next day, really dissappointed, i have nothing else to say
I love that show Crisis. I always look forward every Sunday night to watch it. It will be sad if NBC cancelled that show
I loved this show and was so excited to watch it looking forward to Sunday nights… is the network smoking crack and joining Rob Ford on his mission to really screw things up? I am so very upset!!!
I am also very disappointed and came to this website noticing Believe and Crisis were missing from timeslots when trying to autotune. The ONLY other shows I ever anticipated was The Event and its fate was sadly the same.
How disappointing–disgusting actually. There is finally an intellectually stimulating show that keeps fans on the edge of their chairs and YOU GUYS CANCEL IT! It is brilliantly scripted with unexpected twists and turns! The show was set in a bad time slot. People are getting their kids ready for the school week and getting themselves ready to start the work week. 10 PM is too late. YOU doomed it in this time slot. Move it to another night at an earlier time. Let it be a short, CONTINUED mini-series. C’mon you guys. Pay attention to your fans. PLEASE!
Who cancels a show mid season? Let the ppl that watch it finish the season and then cancel it? I won’t watch nbc anymore and they’re greatly decreased my views of them and their network.
Their biggest mistake was premiering Crisis at the same hour as one of the most popular shows out there, The Walking Dead. I was really looking forward to seeing Crisis and was really disappointed that I had to make a choice between the two shows. NBC never should have premiered Crisis against TWD.
I totally agree with all the comments. I really cant believe NBC is cancelling crisis you guys get us viewers sucked into such a good show and now you are cancelling it smfdh. We as viewers should boycott NBC….this is BS!!!
