NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
I love Crisis! What’s the matter with you, NBC??? Was it too expensive to write because it has an actual PLOT?
Love watching American dream builders Believe, and Crisis. Why are you canceling these show put them on a different night at least try love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love Belive Crisis and American Drew builders please keep them
I looked forward to watching Crisis.
To me it was the only thing worth watching on
Sunday nights because of the drama. It should have
been moved up to 8 or 9 the latest to get a fair chance.
I agree with the other comments! Hate it when you cancel a show mid- season. I went to tape it before I leave on a work trip and could not find it listed. If you keep canceling all of the good shows and keep all the stupid sitcoms ….you are going to lose your viewers completely.
Why does NBC do this? I’d also like to know how it gets the ratings! Lots of friends and family watch this show. Disappointed to say the least-it is a great show!
We loved this show!!! I hope they at least finish the season.
I love crisis, personally I think it was the show on tv right now. Nbc should be ashamed for debutting the show on Sunday night 10:00. A show like that should’ve been grouped with the blacklist to give it a better shot of success. I sorry to see it go . They should move it another night to give it a shot
WOW COULD HAVE FINISHED THE SEASON. THEY ALWAYS LET THE GOOD SHOWS GO. NBC SUCK!!!
Please don’t cancel Crisis its such an exciting show and it keep you on the edge until the next episode. Its a great show. I don’t undstand how they get thier ratings, but everyone that I know watches the show and they all agree how great it is.
Please keep the show or at least let us see how it all ends.
The sad thing is that they look at ratings in the USA, what about people everywhere else that might love the show more then people in the USA, but where it only gets previewed later.
A smart, exciting, thought provoking show in a weak time slot gets cancelled. Possibly well scripted, fast paced, finely acted shows aren’t always the biggest winners with the 19-49 year olds. However, there are multitudes of viewers who spend lots of money on products, cars, travel, etc. that is advertised on shows other than “Idol” and comedies. Understanding that ad dollars per minute become ” The Bottom Line,” perhaps, a better solution would be to “wrap-up” the 13 episodes of “Crisis” with a stunning ending, that is actually an ending. And, air them all. This would most likely encourage viewers,… Read more »
I loved Crisis
This really stinks. I’ve been waiting all day for my favorite show Crisis to come on. Was just settling in to watch it and was totally surprised to see Rosemary’s Baby on instead. Way to jerk around your audience NBC. You could at least have the decency to finish out the season. I don’t care if I have to watch the weather channel on Sunday at 10:00, I’m not watching NBC
I agree with JB… who cancels a show in mid season?? And no announcement to the public? This was one of the best shows in a long time. And as so many have said, it’s unfortunate that NBC chose to put it on when there are so many other good shows competing for the same time slot. So, NBC, just change the day and time, or 8pm on Sunday and let us at least see the remaining episodes for this season!
Omg! Please don’t cancel them! It’s the only shows in a long time I’ve been excited about watching. I totally agree with above contents about getting us into such great shows and then dropping them. Please keep the those shows!!!
