Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

Don’t cancel this show!!! It’s so good. One of the few shows I have actually enjoyed this season. How typical. Anything that tries to be a little different goes by the wayside while all the boring shows like the bachelor, bachelorette, dancing with the stars, America’s got talent, so you think you can dance, etc., etc., etc. go on forever. I’m bummed!!!
BUMMER! This makes me so mad!!! This is a great show and I feel airing it in April was a huge mistake!!!

Please don’t cancel this show! It is the only show I look forward to every week. It is my brothers favorite show also. We always talk about what’s happening on the show during our weekly calls.
This is a great show. I cannot believe it is being cancelled. The plot is really interesting and the acting is awesome. Steve Zahn is amazing! What a shame.
ABC brass are simply stupid!! The story line and characters follows all the possibilities of any Star Trek episode and the abrupt cancellation by ABC brass shows their “Swing for the fenceces” attutude” for instant ratings. Todays viewers lije to follow a good story line (and this show has it) and for that to happen there needs to be at least two seasons minimum, especially with only 8 episodes.

I know that at this point my comments would be a rehash of others (no show this complex should air for less then 2 seasons, or at least 20 episodes). I am concerned with what they consider “viewership”. I view in CANADA, on CTV. Do WE count? Do other countries count? If there is a way to get them to turn this decision around (they just cancelled, they can), tell me! DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW!!! I swear, I did not even care to watch, but once I did… THE STORY IS GREAT!
Another great show being cancelled. When is ABC going to realize that viewers today like the accessibility of on demand on their terms. Not to be locked down at a certain time on a certain day to watch a show. This doesn’t mean we don’t like the show it means we like flexibility. I think it would be better for ABC to just stop producing shows all together because they keep all the crap and cancel anything worth watching. DO NOT CANCEL THE CROSSING. ITS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON THIS NETWORK
I really liked the show. Like another said, good character development. Sad it`s not being renewed.
I enjoyed the series and would have liked to see a season 2. The character development is excellent. There are elements in the series reminiscent of X-files, Terminator 2 , and Serpico all of which I enjoyed

This is a great show that got hammered for no apparent reason. To add insult to injury, it had to be expensive to make. If this is the best you so called network can do, save your money and just do Disney shows: cheap, innocuous and focused on your core audience. Children.
we should just stop watching all new programs during the first season and only watch on demand IF show is renewed? This way, we won’t be disappointed if a show we like is cancelled.
