NBC licensed the first season of Crossing Lines and aired it during the summer of 2013. It didn’t perform well in the ratings so the network cancelled the show. However, it was a success in other international markets so a second season was produced.
First season regulars William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Marc Lavoine, Tom Wlaschiha, Gabriella Pession and Richard Flood returned, along with Lara Rossi, who was introduced late in the first season. Guest stars for the season include Carrie-Anne Moss and Ray Stevenson.
While season two of Crossing Lines was aired in various countries around the world, it wasn’t available to viewers in the United States — until now. Netflix, which was already streaming the first season, has now begun streaming the second season as well. They also offer both seasons on DVD.
There’s no word yet on whether season three will be produced. However, considering that season two was ordered all the way back in August 2013, a third season doesn’t look likely.
What do you think? Do you like the Crossing Lines TV show? Would you watch a third season?
I really miss this show!! Bring it back in the name of all things holy!
Great show needs to be resurrected. Great story line
I really liked this show and the actors. Should bring it back withWilliam Fitchner and Marc Lavoine.
I never even remember hearing about this as TV series i caught it on Netflix by accident and OMG LOVE it. Binged first two seasons in one weekend. What happened to Eva and Tommy?
Why were they not mentioned in season 3
I have just watched season one on Netflix and thought it was great, i would watch season 2, tried watching on Netflix, but they don’t have it and it doesnt look like i can buy the dvd,
John Kaweske Perhaps the tweaking of the shows format in the last season was the final straw that doomed the series with NBC. The airing of the show with
a different calendar may have led to a higher Nielsen rating. The dropping of Eva and Major Daniels probably did not help ratings. Loved the series but love to know why the editors at NBC could not be more creative in growing viewership.
Definently would watch all seasons of crossing line if available in US.
This is right up there with “Spiral” for character development and chemistry. Why settle for Season 3 ? How about 4, 5 and 6 ???
Please have a season 3, I love the show and want it to continue.
Are you kidding me, I’d love to see 10 more seasons!!
