NBC licensed the first season of Crossing Lines and aired it during the summer of 2013. It didn’t perform well in the ratings so the network cancelled the show. However, it was a success in other international markets so a second season was produced.
First season regulars William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Marc Lavoine, Tom Wlaschiha, Gabriella Pession and Richard Flood returned, along with Lara Rossi, who was introduced late in the first season. Guest stars for the season include Carrie-Anne Moss and Ray Stevenson.
While season two of Crossing Lines was aired in various countries around the world, it wasn’t available to viewers in the United States — until now. Netflix, which was already streaming the first season, has now begun streaming the second season as well. They also offer both seasons on DVD.
There’s no word yet on whether season three will be produced. However, considering that season two was ordered all the way back in August 2013, a third season doesn’t look likely.
What do you think? Do you like the Crossing Lines TV show? Would you watch a third season?
we loved it and hope there will be a season three
my husband and i LOVED this show and we sure hope there will be a third season!!!!!!!!!!!
Please, please, please let there be a 3’rd, 4’th….etc. season. So rare to find anything that smacks of intelligence on TV.
I love the show and would like to see NetFlix produce it!!!
Great idea!
A wonderful change from the time worn standard cop drama series we have had for many years here in the US…..Defies logic as to why they won’t do a third season as it is going to become extremely popular now that Netflix is streaming it. Really enjoy watching this show……
Just finished season 2. Please come back with a 3rd. Love this show. One of the best. The cast is terrific. Nothing like it . Please, please come back.
Oh, after the season 2 final episode, season 3 really should happen!
Good grief! Watch a third season? Of course I would! “Crossing Lines” has some of the smartest writing, acting, and production I’ve encountered. I binge-watched both seasons on Netflix – they carry a lot of quality TV and have produced great shows on their own – why not pick this up for a third wind-up season a la “The Killing?” The terrific cliff-hanger Season Two ending of “Crossing Lines” was full of ambiguity and red herrings, to be tied up in another season either by the original writers or pounced on by new writers. Netflix would be missing a golden… Read more »
loved it there has to be a third season.!!!!
Loved this show. Hoping for a season three.
Loved it. Hope for season 3
Love the show, very intellectual. Would like to see native languages used more with English subtitles to make it more believable, no one expects two Frenchmen speaking alone to use English.
I love the show. It is edgy and intelligent. I love that it has internationals working together, Hearing the different accents actually helps the brain :D. Always keeps me on the edge of my seat.
A European cop show is definitely refreshing. I would love to see more.
I love the show. I really hope there’s a 3rd season-refreshing change but no so different that it shouldn’t have pretty broad appeal. Sorry I missed it first time around.
