Get ready for more animation on Netflix. According to The Animation Guild, the streaming service has renewed both Dawn of the Croods and The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show.
As reported earlier, season three of Dawn of the Croods debuts on April 7th while season four of Mr. Peabody & Sherman is set to premiere on April 21st.
Per The Animation Guild, Netflix has reportedly ordered 78 episodes of Mr. Peabody & Sherman, which will take the animated series through season six. Meanwhile, Dawn of the Croods has received a “sizable Netflix order.”
Based off DreamWorks’ 2013 film The Croods, the animated series follows the prehistoric Crood family that includes: father Grug, daughter Eep, mother Ugg, sons Thunk and Sandy, and the elderly Gran.
The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show is based on the 1960s cartoon that aired as part of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. The series follows Mr. Peabody (voiced by Chris Parnell), who hosts a variety show from his house with his son, Sherman (voiced by Max Charles).
