The Devious Maids are retiring. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lifetime has cancelled the series after four seasons.
The dramedy revolved around a group of Latina maids who work in the homes of wealthy and powerful families in Beverly Hills. The cast included Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes, Rebecca Wisocky, Grant Show, and Susan Lucci.
While ratings for Devious Maids had never been high, season four were the lowest yet, earning an average of .30 in the 18-49 demo and only 923,000 viewers. For comparison, season three received an average of .46 in the 18-49 demo and 1.36 million viewers.

My husband and I loved this show. We watched all 4 seasons and have been waiting for the 5th. It just figures a well written, enjoyable show that mature adults can laugh and enjoy gets thrown away.

I have been binge watching Devious Maids and have thoroughly enjoyed each episode. I cannot believe that the network is canceling this show. The program is interesting, entertaining, and creative. The decision to cancel is a BIG mistake. One of the best shows on TV.

I loved Devious Maids! How could Lifetime cancel it? It’s the same thing with the Dallas revival- this is why I don’t get involved in tv shows: they go off the air! Btw, Marisol was my favorite.
