Season four of Devious Maids just ended, and executive producer Sabrina Wind spoke with TVLine about the future of the Lifetime series.
The show centers on a group of Latina maids who work in the homes of the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. The cast includes Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes, Rebecca Wisocky, and Susan Lucci.
In the interview, Wind revealed that if the show is renewed, season five will feature Dani’s father:
100,000 percent! I’m hoping the character is this incredibly hot, wonderful man who’s going to come back into Carmen’s life and challenge where she is and what she’s about.”
She also mentioned that Marisol’s disappearance will be central to the new season:
It will launch us into the new season. We have many thoughts of what it all means, but we have to wait to talk to Lifetime about them. It will be a completely new story.”
Lifetime has not officially renewed Devious Maids for a fifth season yet.

I love this show! It needs to go for a season 5! Adrian and Evelyn are comical! Susan Lucci is great! Everyone is wonderful! Can’t wait for season 5!
I definitely hope there is a 5th season, even though I thought season 4 was a bit tired and weak. The shows’ premise allows for endless storyline possibilities. The Evelyn/Adrian pairing is pure genius and Genevieves’ dialogue is masterful. We could do with a lot less of Rosies’ lilting, whiney presentation, though.

The 4th season was so boring. The writers must be 10 years old and think we 5!! It was so childish and stupid.
It better come back. I always look forward to it. There are way to many stupid “reality shows” & this show has some great characters & even makes us laugh. Never knew Susan Luchi was so talented! She has some great lines! Lots of mystery, but some fun too. Can’t believe they’d even think of cancelling it! What do they want to replace it, another stupid show!?
