Disjointed is coming to Netflix, and the series has made a huge casting change. Deadline revealed that Elizabeth Ho is replacing Jessica Lu in the comedy. Ho will join Kathy Bates in the series from Chuck Lorre.
The series will follow the antics behind the scenes of a pot dispensary. The business will be owned by Bates’ character.
Deadline shared the following about Ho’s role:
“Ho will play one of the budtenders, a big-hearted, type-A overachiever trying to medicate herself back to normal. Dougie Baldwin and Elizabeth Alderfer play the other budtenders.”
The comedy has a 20-episode order. Do you plan to check out Disjointed? Tell us what you think.
I loved the show. Very funny and I really hope there is a season 2.
I have watched every episode twice. I enjoyed each one until the last, which was truly heartbreaking. I just hope the show continues past being robbed. True, they had customers that ruined it for all, but the cast still survived. I have frequented several dispensaries in the past, once I became a Cannabis-Med user myself, and enjoy watching the cast go through the day to day issues that many of us do. I think Kathy Bates did a wonderful job, as did all of the Actors & Actresses. Best of luck to all of you!
I will absolutely be watching “Disjointed.” I love most everything by Chuck Lorre and who don’t love Kathy Bates?
