It was an underwhelming start for the new reality series. It tied with a repeat of The Middle on ABC for second place. If it dips in week two (as most new shows do), it’ll likely drop to third or fourth place. This premiere was less than half of what CBS saw from last summer’s Big Brother return.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Dogs in the City TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I love this show. Please renew. It really does give insight to dog owners and more importantly shows the importance of helping unwanted animals by rescueing not buying a dog. PLEASE RENEW!!!
Please renew this show, if not give it another TV station so it can be appreciated. Love the show and I dont have one pet
Dogs In The City was a welcomed, refreshing show. But leave it to the talking heads to
make another bad decision by taking it off the air. Don’t you understand that people go on vacation during summer, or otherwise involved in activities during the summer season.
I hope you will rethink this decision, as I my husband & I were glued to Justin Silver’s
show every week.
Sincerly,

Not a bad show, but, given its poor Neilsens, I’d say its death knell has sounded on CBS. However, it should be picked up by another net, possibly “Animal Planet”.
Really loved the show and I sincerely hope it will be renewed.
i love this show – they cannot cancel it – give it some time for people to see it – i’ve watched each episode when it aired and again on hulu – even my cat watches it 🙂
GREAT SHOW!!
Please bring this one back! I have not missed an episode. I keep watching for a specific problem Justin has not hit upon yet that I have with my little dog. It is a very informative and entertaining show. As long as it runs I will not miss it!
This is the best show on TV right now. Real people, people who love their dogs. This show will open up an awareness to the value of Mans best friend. This can only promote kindness.
I love this show. It is educational, funny and heart warming. I don’t even have a dog but I still love this program. Please keep it on because it is one of the few shows that I will watch next season.
I love this show. Even my husband watches it. We have 10 dogs all from rescue of one kind or another and Justin is pro rescue. I love it!!
Love this show, I don’t watch reality shows. this one does not insult your intelligence.
It has my vote.
I love this show. Please do not cancel it!! I DVR it every week. With animal rights an advocacy on the rise and pet populations rising it is important for animal owners to have an expert that they can relate to and turn to.
Loved the show. Please bring it back!!!
Please return this show. It is great for the animals and humans. Helps both to learn. I for one am enjoying my walks with the dog now as we walk together instead of her walking me. LOL
Please renew this show. It’s been very entertaining and has given me a lot of good ideas for working with my dogs.
