It was an underwhelming start for the new reality series. It tied with a repeat of The Middle on ABC for second place. If it dips in week two (as most new shows do), it’ll likely drop to third or fourth place. This premiere was less than half of what CBS saw from last summer’s Big Brother return.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Dogs in the City TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Dogs in the City is truly a great show. I love how Justin handles the owners and the dogs.
I also love how it takes place in NY!
As a dog lover, owner and dog rescuer, PLEASE RENEW THE SHOW!
I have been telling so many people about the show and now it’s not on.
Please renew!
PLEASE renew! We love this show! Informative and funny. We don’t have a dog but we are thinking about getting one now! I hope you give it another shot.
just give everyone a chance to find a show and then build an audience. i loved this show, my friend is here and she asked what happened to it. well we guess from this site it is cancelled. it was a really good show, for pete sakes you get rid of too many shows that have a following that builds slowly. instead of putting a fortune in new developement why not advertise these shows so we can find them and follow them. thank you as always for the cancellation.
I LOVED Dogs In The City and wouldn’t miss a single episode regardless of what
else I had planned. Please renew the show. Its my favorite show.
Please renew! One of the best reality shows–I loved every episode.
I just enjoyed the show. My goddaughter and I want to get a dog next year and learned a host of tricks of proper dog handling. We really hope that it comes back for season 2.
