It was an underwhelming start for the new reality series. It tied with a repeat of The Middle on ABC for second place. If it dips in week two (as most new shows do), it’ll likely drop to third or fourth place. This premiere was less than half of what CBS saw from last summer’s Big Brother return.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Dogs in the City TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
It’s impossible to rate a show that only had 4 showings and 2 repeats in that time! That’s crazy!!
I love the show but am tired of finding repeats this early on…a show can’t succeed like this!
Play some original parts of this show and then compare your ratings.

PLEASE keep this show. What a wonderful way to keep dogs OUT of a shelter or to inform people they can adopt a pet that isn’t perfect. Anyone concerned about the number of animals in shelters should support this show.
