The angels have fallen. After two seasons, SyFy has canceled their supernatural drama Dominion, according to Variety.
Based on the 2010 film Legion, the series centered around a world where God’s gone and angels and humans battle for good and evil. The show debuted in 2014 and its second season concluded on October 1, 2015.
During its first season, Dominion became the most-viewed scripted series on SyFy, with an average 1.6 million viewers. However, even with strong numbers for the season opener, the ratings for season two declined steadily over the course of 13 episodes.

Led by Vaun Wilmott, the talented cast, producers, writers and crew of ‘Dominion’ have done a tremendous job bringing this ambitious, cinematic series to the screen over the past two seasons. We thank them, as well as our producing partners Universal Cable Productions, Bold Films and Film Afrika.”

This is really messed up, my husband loves this show! All you networks keep canceling the good shows and leave on or put more some of the sorriest shows ever made
Dominion is a great TV show. They get so upset that ratings decline but that’s exactly what happens when you keep cancelling the good shows. Why would anyone want to watch anything new on Syfy when they have the fear of it being cancelled.

As entertainment goes you owe it to all viewers weather it is a good or bad series. Some of the series will always be a little weak, to halt in mid series just tells me that someone got out of bed one morning with P.M.S. When reality shows run rampant on tv GIVE THE SYFY NATION a brake get rid of those reality shows. Finish DOMINION so we can have some entertainment.
we need to boycott syfy. lets reflected on their ratings. come on their is at least 2 million of us? they use us like test subjects. and then crap on us. HOW MANY OF US BOUGHT SEASON 1.??? WERE STUCK WITH NOTHING., BOYCOTT SYFY.???
Why? I agree! Syfy leave on the junk shows like the ghost hunters, wrestling and faceoff,darkmatter, etc and take off Dominion, Lost Girls. I turn and rerun movies week after week. I came back to Syfy because of Dominion and Haven. Give us back our good shows and movies!
I have not watched syfy channel for a long time until Dominion. Why do they cancel shows that people like and keep crap? They need to bring back Dominion at least for season 3.. I will not watch syfy for anything else.
One of the better series to come from SyFy. Utterly disappointing that it was not allowed to be screened to completion. Not a good decision by the execs leaving so many people unhappy!
Syfy canceled two of the best shows that entertain us over the summer but they bring back ghost hunters which sucks by the way .
I agree with everyone else, If Syfy can’t finish what they start and leave us all hanging in mid air wondering what happened, I don’t need them on my list of channels to watch. If they keep it up Scfy will be SyGONE. We want to watch good Sify shows and what do we get, wrestling, life type series. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING SCFY?
They shouldn’t have ended Dominion at all, let alone at such a cliff hanger of a finale. The second season was getting better as it progressed, with lots of potential for another season. But I guess SyFy has the bad habit of stopping a series before it gets interesting. With this show not being on, I guess there’s no reason to watch SyFy anymore; no more views from this viewer! Should have kept it going, at least until there was a resolution to all of the open endings they left off!
Should have had another series to wrap it up, am done with this channel why waste time watching with no conclusion, bye SyFy, won’t waste my time buying into any series you show in the future as some chinless exec will just cancel it when they get the jitters.

I agree with everyone else. Dominion is a very good show that has good content and wonderful actors. This show deserves to be on. I do believe this was the last show I was watching on Syfy. If Dominion doesn’t return …#BYESYFYCHANNEL
