It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

Daggit I didn’t know the show was canceled. I really loved it. I would record with my DVR and then watch several episodes!
There are enough crime shows on; this was really different! Even though guys probably didn’t watch it, we woman loved it!
I loved this show….too bad ABC didn’t give it a new time lot or at least give it a chance…..I will no longer watch shows on ABC for the poor judgement on their part

Oh My husband and I love this show.. We happened to see it on when it premered and loved it instantly.. I had no idea that it was even coming on this season.. if the network had given it just a little publicity im sure it would have done well. Well there goes another awesome show..Im annoyed… Im getting to the point where i dont even want to watch tv anymore.. whats the point if they cancel it before the season is over?
I am very disappointed. I loved this show and eveyone on it. I loved the movie it was based on and the book by John Updike. This is a great show, and it was always entertaining and well acted. I think ABC made a mistake with this one. FOR SURE!!
I was enjoying the mystery of this show. The show is pure entertainment unlike some others.
I am so disappointed that Eastwick was cancelled I can not believe it. It was my favorite show. It never got enough publicity. Nor did the network give the show a chance.Please bring the show back. Cancel some of the reality shows there are far too many
I am not a watcher of series’s but ; I loved this show. I was a devout watcher . Are there any chances that they will change there minds. I am in love with Darrell Van Horn . I thought the show was getting better with each week . WHY WHY WHY did they have to cancelllllll. I am sure I am not the only person who is mad about this.
Argh..Why cancel it???? It is like one of the best show to watch, it is something I always watch every week now its being cancelled. Great there goes my entertainment for the day….
Are you kidding me??? Why on earth will the network cancel this show?? It’s great and completely different from every other show on tv!!! I am so tired of falling in love with a tv show and having the network cancell it without giving it a proper chance. Have PATIENCE network people!!!! Keep the show a little longer and you’ll see that it’ll turn around. Sick and tired of not having a proper ending either. Cancel Eastwick? and keep loser shows like The Batchelor, Ugly Betty? Really I hate reality t.v. It is for losers that have no life.
We are really going to miss Eastwick. Such a nice change from all the reality shows which we are proud to say we never watch. Eastwick was a breath of fresh air.

I can’t believe ABC cancelled Eastwick I really enjoyed it, this is the first time I have ever written to complain about a cancelation. Shows like ugly Betty stay on the air and Eastwick goes really????????? Does’t everyone think by now Betty would have absorbed some taste through osmosis, again really!!!!!!!!!!! The TV is full of stupid reality shows but a show that is funny interesting and quirky could not make it Could the fact it was never publicized or sold have anything to do with it .
Also bummed that it was cancelled. I faithfully watched every Wednesday and then they started bumping it and honestly never promoted it enough or stood behind it. I’m hoping they at least air Episode 12 and 13- been waiting for weeks now. There are sooo many horrible shows out there that networks stand behind, why couldn’t ABC stand behind this show that was smart, funny and had so many faithful viewers. When Desperate Housewives started plummeting in the ratings, ABC didn’t cancel. What gives?
I am so upset that the show was canceled!!! I looked forward to Wednesday so that I could watch Eastwick. When they aired the last show, it left too many unanswered questions, like who was that boy and why was he so mean. I am so bummed!! I wish ABC or some other network would air the show again!
