Episodes is getting ready to start off production on season five for Showtime in April, and one of the stars of the series feels like the fifth season should be its last season.
In an interview with RadioTimes.com, Stephen Mangan spoke about the series, and he was quite candid with his thoughts. He feels that the fifth season should be the last season of the series.
He said:
“It would make sense to me: five series, a five act play. They left us all right up s*** creek at the end of series four. I think it’s sort of wrapping it up and some kind of denouement would make sense. You never know. You always want to get out before everyone gets tired of you.”
Mangan made it clear that Matt LeBlanc’s new role as presenter on Top Gear does not impact the series at all. The actor will be a part of season five.
Are you a fan of Episodes? Should the series end with season five? Tell us what you think.
I think that Episodes is stand up, cross your legs, laugh until you pee, funny!
Funny as hell,
Hope it gets more seasons!!
Love Episodes! Can’t wait for it’s return. It’s consistently the best acted, best written comedy on BBC 2.
