A primetime drama, Everwood, ran from 2002 to 2006 on The WB network. As the story begins, widower Dr. Andrew Brown (Treat Williams) moves to Everwood, Colorado from Manhattan with his 9-year old daughter, Delia (Vivien Cardone), and 15-year old son, Ephram (Gregory Smith). Many of the early story lines center around the small family’s adjustment to their new town, and dealing with the loss of wife and mother, Julia.
In season three, Everwood is primed for drama as Ephram returns from Julliard, read to commit himself to his music, and to Amy Abbott (Emily VanCamp). Andy finds himself with ethical challenges and a new doctor (Scott Wolf) arrives nursing a healthy interest in pancakes — as served by Nina (Stephanie Niznik). All is not bliss in Everwood though, as a secret from the previous season threatens to destroy trusts and bonds of love.
Other third season regulars include: Debra Mooney John Beasley, Chris Pratt, Stephanie Miznik, Merrilyn Gann, Sarah Lancaster, Sara Drew, and Tom Amandes.
The third season of Everwood has just been released on DVD and the five-disc set includes all 22 episodes as well as selected outtakes. You can purchase Everwood: The Complete Third Season for $26.49 from Amazon. You can also try to win a copy here.
