Is Nicole Kidman returning to the small screen? Deadline reports the actress and her production company, Blossom Films, are adapting the book The Expatriates as a TV series.
Written by Janice Y.K Lee, the novel “explores, with equal parts humor and drama, the complicated relationships of three American women as they navigate life inside tight-knit expat Hong Kong.”
Alice Bell is slated to write the TV adaptation, which includes a possible role for Kidman. Blossom Films’ Per Saari is executive producing alongside Kidman and POW! Productions’ Theresa Park.
Kidman stars in HBO’s upcoming mini-series Big Little Lies, which premieres on February 19th.
