THE SEARCH RESUMES AS “FINDING BIGFOOT” RETURNS TO ANIMAL PLANET FOR AN ALL-NEW SEASON BEGINNING JANUARY 3rd
Season Premiere Determines Which is the Better Habitat for Bigfoot: The American or Canadian Bush?
(Silver Spring, Md.) -The natural world is full of discoveries to be made and truths to be uncovered. However, there is one legendary animal mystery that sparks passion unlike any other: the existence of Bigfoot. Animal Planet’s intrepid FINDING BIGFOOT team travels to the corners of the globe in hopes to, once and for all, prove that the elusive bigfoot (aka sasquatch) is out there.
The new season of FINDING BIGFOOT premieres Sunday, January 3, from 9-11 PM (ET/PT), as Animal Planet’s curious crypto-zoological team sets foot in new locations with modern technologies to progress the search. And in the two-hour premiere, Bigfoot Field Research Organization (BFRO) president Matt Moneymaker, researchers James “Bobo” Fay and Cliff Barackman and field biologist Ranae Holland split up to determine the better sasquatch habitat: the American or Canadian wilderness. While the countries share a border, they boast different landscapes, so Cliff and Matt investigate the Canadian bush while Bobo and Ranae scour their home turf for evidence.
This season, the team investigates the following states:
· Maine, Sunday, January 10, at 10 PM: A cornucopia of bigfoot artifacts exists in the Pine Tree State, so the team takes its first trip to Maine and heads deep into the woods to learn more within this east-coast squatching haven.
· New Hampshire, Sunday, January 17, at 10 PM: In picturesque Mount Washington, concerned resort owners reach out to the team with a slew of reported sasquatch sightings gathered throughout many years.
· Georgia, Sunday, January 24, at 10 PM: Military bases are some of the country’s most protected and secluded areas. In a top-secret sasquatch investigation, the team goes into full stealth mode and utilize tips from military members to investigate forests just off base.
· Oregon, Sunday, January 31, at 10 PM: The team has been to Cliff’s home state before, but they never have explored beyond Cliff’s usual spots. The team takes a helicopter trip deep into the Oregon wilderness to one of the most remote locations in the show’s history. And, for the first time, the team employs drones with infrared cameras.
FINDING BIGFOOT is produced for Animal Planet by Ping Pong Productions. Brad Kuhlman and Casey Brumels are executive producers for Ping Pong Productions. Keith Hoffman is executive producer and Sarah Russell is producer for Animal Planet.
Will you be watching Finding Bigfoot on January 3? Tell us what you think.
Wtf!! Use brought it back and 5 episodes later you take it off till January ?? Are you kidding me … **** river monsters
I always wonder if the calls they make are pushing bigfoot away. How do they know these calls aren’t distress calls or warnings of danger. All sightings reported are during the day as well and people are doing normal things. Sometimes I think they are scaring bigfoot away with calls and wood knocks. Then they whisper like bigfoot can understand what they are saying.
Bo Bo is supposed to be the “Expert Caller”. Yet, his calls sound too human and they seldom get a response.
Am I the only one who, when watching this and other shows dedicated to the pursuit of Bigfoot or other creatures, thinks of that definition of insanity that describes that as ‘doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result? Same ol’ same ol’, and never any proof of anything, other than sometimes noises our in the woods! At least the approach some time..
I Love the show !! its fun an entertaining !! I hope it stays on for another 10 years !!!!!! I love BOBO !!!!!!!!!!
I love the show! If you guy’s ever come back to Michigan, please come to Newaygo. I have been hearing knocks just outside. I live in the Manistee Forest and I have heard knocks while out riding my horse.
I like the sicienctific approach they use to prove instead of running around with guns like idoitson other show love this show wish I could go
Love Finding Bigfoot have watched it from start
I agree let’s see more episodes per season. Love the show been watching it since it started. Looking forward to the new season. Thanks for something different that keeps us entertained!
I wish it was a weekly event
Love the show. But three or four episodes isn’t enough. We need more. More shows please. A full season.
I used to watch faithfully every week and was excited to watch to see what they would find, but it was always the same. They hear a noise and maybe get tree knock responses. I know that Bigfoot exists and they are very smart and experts at staying hid but maybe this team should hook up with other teams out there that are actually getting good flir evidence and close physical responses. If anything, to learn and share different ideas. I’m not saying those other shows are perfect but join techniques together and maybe we could get untainted physical evidence… Read more »
Finding Bigfoot REVIEW (from “Arm Chair Quarter Back”) I agree with with the guy (Steve) who said their best “method” the Finding Bigfoot (FB) team used was the “Primate Dogs”. I think the Primate Dogs, coupled with Drones mounted with Thermal Images (let experts operate them, not cast members) and a LARGE number of perimeter Game Video Cameras is their best bet for any researchers. A different show called “Destination Truth” used the perimeter video game cameras on every search. They didn’t always get evidence, but they often got ambiguous stuff that was later examined by other experts to give… Read more »
Best Review Ever!!!
