The Flintstones are back – at least in comic form. The characters from the popular cartoon are featured in a new DC comic released last week, and these are not The Flintstones you grew up with. They have been given a makeover that brings them into the 21st Century a bit.

According to Digital Spy, the comic, titled The Flintstones #1, contains artwork by Steve Pugh and colorist Chris Chuckry, and it is available on Amazon now. One reviewer, from Adventures in Poor Taste, that has seen the actual comic revealed that the comic mostly features Fred and Wilma. Barney and Betty are seen only a small amount.
