TV show description:
A fantasy crime drama, this TV series follows New York City’s star medical examiner — Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd), handsome man with a secret past. No matter how hard he tries, Henry can’t age even a single day — he’s immortal. He doesn’t know much about what happens when he “dies” except that everything on him disappears and he reemerges in a body of water, naked.
Henry doesn’t just study the dead to solve criminal cases however. He does it to try to solve the mystery that has eluded him for 200 years — the reason for his own inexplicable immortality.
Henry’s long life has given him remarkable observation skills which impresses his new partner, Detective Jo Martinez (Alana De La Garza). This piques her curiosity about who he is. Each new case and their budding friendship reveal layers of Henry’s long and colorful past. Jo’s sharp, no-nonsense instincts and her ability to close difficult cases have given her a tough-as-nails reputation on the force, despite also dealing with the untimely loss of her husband.
Lucas Wan (Joel David Moore) is a twenty-something self-proclaimed “artisan of death” and Henry’s worshipful assistant. He considers mortuary science an art, and Henry its Picasso. After transplanting to New York City from rural Ohio, Lucas worked up the courage to introduce himself to the star medical examiner at a crime scene.
A Brooklyn native, Detective Hanson (Donnie Keshawarz) works alongside Jo and has worked his way up to the NYPD’s elite squad of homicide detectives. He’s a family man who lives with his wife and two children in Queens. Unafraid of bending the rules to get the job done, Hanson is sometimes skeptical of Henry’s talent but often admires its effectiveness.
No one knows Henry better than his best friend and confidant, an antique shop owner named Abe (Judd Hirsch). The keeper of Henry’s immortality secret, Abe’s “carpe diem” philosophy inspires Henry to get more in touch with the beauty of living. Abe is not immortal but he is determined to make the most out of every moment of life.
Episode #22 — The Last Death of Henry Morgan
Henry and Adam have been on a long, unrelenting collision course, which is about to come to a head – possibly bringing about one man’s death – with only Jo standing in the way. Henry and Jo’s murder investigation into a museum worker’s death centers on a priceless missing ancient dagger, which not only ended the life of Julius Caesar, but also killed Adam the first time.
Meanwhile, Adam knows that there is something that Henry fears more than death – that Jo might discover his mystery. The two men tangle in a tumultuous game-changing confrontation.
First aired: May 5, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Forever TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?

It was the only show i watched on you’re station. I enjoyed the show but nothing I’ve watched on your station appeals to me so it will now be almost impossible to get me to watch your station again. Every show i have enjoyed on your station has been canceled after 1 season so I don’t see any point in giving you another opportunity to disappoint me again. Totally lost this viewer
My girlfriend and I loved this show, we are absolutely saddened to hear of Castle being canceled. ABC should cancel the some of their trashy shows ( I won’t mention any names).
They should not have cancelled this show! Acting was suberb, story lines meaningful and interesting. I was very disappointed to hear it was cancelled. This is one they should reconsider and bring back!
My wife and I loved Forever. It had a great premise, great characters, great actors and a great story line. We were very disappointed when we learned it had been cancelled. We would love for them to bring it back.
I forgot to add, it had a great villain too.
It was an entertaining show. Liked the characters and story line. Why didn’t he die. What was the connection to dr.
I loved the show. I always watch channel 4 but for this show I would change. I am very disappointed its cancel.
BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION. VERY DISAPPOINTED IT’S GONE.
Please bring this show back, I don’t care what channel it’s on, I just want to see more of it. I loved the cast, they were all very talented and I found the story compelling even if it wasn’t realistic.
Your words echo my sentiments exactly! A very compelling, thought-provoking series! Very disappointing to see it cancelled!
wasn`t he immortal and he already died lmaof, this just prove that American television is only ruled by idiots that should be working in car wash or something like that , because you don`t understand **** about tv
Heaven forbid the networks actually renew a program of quality. Heaven forbid they actually air programming that may make their viewers think and feel, instead they renew and renew the same recycled numbing garbage that is deemed “reality”….when in reality it’s semi-scripted coupled with atrocious acting, but who cares because to them idiots are watching
Please bring Forever Back
It helped diagnose my left brain problem Phantosmia
I never would have know the cause and been able to seek treatment for what could lead to Parkinsons disease, epilepsy, neuroblastoma, and frequent migraines.
It is severely debilitating and I would not have EVER know about it, had Henry Morgan not described the symptoms that have cause Dr’s in my city to blow me off. Now I can seek help
PLEASE PLEASE bring it back!
Sad that money is ruling ever – ything. And rely who is getting richer in the end? it would have been nicer to close with an episode showing the finding of the mystery, surrounding him, and as a result dies? Shame on you – meaning you are not as smart as you think.
Regards
Horst
I thought Forever was one of the best shows on TV. I couldn’t believe it was cancelled.
I knew it could not last. It was too good. Only junk lasts not intelligent shows like Forever. Please reconsider. Don’t leave us hanging. At least give us an ending. Don’t your listeners matter?
I really enjoyed this program. Funny, serious, romantic. Please bring it back. Television is a family form of entertainment. Programs should be kept on for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Do we really need sex crime bad language violence on tv when you can just go on internet to see what’s happening in this crazy world of ours.
