Amazon is exploring another side of World War II. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming service has ordered a new TV series called The Forgotten Army.
The historical drama will “revolve around historical Indian figure Subhash Chandra Bose and his Indian National Army, which was forged out of Britain’s defeat in Singapore during World War II while India was still under British colonial rule.”
Bollywood director Kabir Khan will helm The Forgotten Army. The project is part of Prime Video‘s move to provide more international content. Last year, the streaming service launched 18 original Indian series.
