A new dance competition series is in the planning stages for Fox. With Dancing with the Stars still highly popular, there is always a push for another hot dance series on television. However, the networks have not struck gold with another dance competition series since the premiere of So You Think You Can Dance.

Remember Paula Abdul’s dance series on CBS? Yeah, probably not.

According to The Wrap, Fox has joined with the producers of The Voice and American Idol on a new dance competition series though. This weekly series will focus on actual couples that will train and compete against each other.
