As you probably know, Family Guy was cancelled by FOX back in 2002 but was later revived thanks to the popularity of reruns and DVD sales.
Tonight, Family Guy airs its 200th episode and the animated series is still doing well in the ratings. As you can see below, it’s currently FOX’s second-highest rated scripted series, just below The Simpsons.
Unfortunately, many of FOX’s other shows aren’t still going strong. Series like Glee and New Girl have been losing steam and the network doesn’t have any strong new shows.
What do you think? How long will Family Guy keep running? Share your comments below.

These charts incorporate the daily final FOX show ratings (reported by Nielsen) and are sorted by the 18-49 demographic. Network advertisers typically prize those viewers most and so will pay more to reach them. There’s lots of information that the networks take into consideration when cancelling or renewing a TV series but the ratings are the biggest factor. The higher the ratings, the better chance that the show will be renewed. And yes, they take it into account when a show airs on a Friday or Saturday night.

I have not liked Bones at all this season, Fringe I like, although it’s hard to follow sometimes. Those were the only two shows I watched on fox.
How can you say new girl and glee are doing terrible in the ratings when they are doing better then bones and fringe??????????
I didn’t say they were doing terrible, just that the ratings had come down.
Josh, everything’s doing better than Fringe.
