TV show description:
This thriller TV show is based on the Turkish television series titled Suskunlar and revolves around friendship, love, revenge and the moral dilemma of how far one will go in the pursuit of justice.
In the series, five best friends have a dark secret they thought was buried 25 years ago, but they soon discover that they can’t hide their past forever.
Jackson Brooks (David Lyons) is a successful attorney who seems to have it all. He’s engaged to his boss, Marina (Claire van der Boom), and he’s on the fast track to becoming partner at his firm. His world is turned upside down when his long-lost childhood friends unexpectedly reappear after 25 years.
Years ago, Jackson, Gil Harris (Michael Raymond-James), Shawn Cook (Larenz Tate), and Boots (Derek Phillips) always stuck together, like brothers. They spent their boyhood summers in the small town of Dalton, Texas, swimming in the quarry, shooting bottle rockets and doing everything they could to mine the fun out of small-town life.
But their idyllic world turned chaotic one fateful summer afternoon. A well-intentioned and heroic attempt to save their friend Jessie West (Bre Blair) from her alcoholic mother ultimately cost the 13-year-old boys nine months at Quitman Youth Detention Facility. Their lives were changed forever.
Now 25 years later, the nightmare of the worst nine months of their lives has resurfaced. A mystery even deeper than their buried past is uprooted. The brotherhood must now band together to right the wrongs of their shared past. It’s a journey that will push the limits of their loyalty and ignite in them an unquenchable thirst for revenge.
Other characters include Detective Liz Winters (Deidrie Henry), Warden Ray Carroll (Conor O’Farrell) and Terry Bausch (Demetrius Grosse).
Episode #10 — She Sang Hymns Out of Tune
The group pull together for their final chance at vengeance and no one emerges unscathed.
First aired: June 5, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Game of Silence TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Oh no, don’t cancel the show.
I don’t understand why its being cancel. I love this show. I love anything with suspense. All the casting was great. So how do we know what happen. Can we at least get the rest of the end. I think you should have tried different time slots before cancel the show. Great show. I hope somebody else can pick it up.
I can’t believe that Game of Silence has been cancelled! This show is one of the best ‘keep you on the edge of your seat’ thriller/dramas, I have watched in years! DONT CANCEL the show GAME OF SILENCE!
Unreal best show on tv in was like the series Black List so disappointing
This show wasn’t given a chance! I would have rather you tried different time slots to see if the viewership changed!
summer just started, kids out of school, hockey season playoffs in full swing. I could seldom watch Thursday nights, but I watched all the episodes on “On Demand”. You are so right, this should have been aired in the fall season.
Loved the show! Cannot believe it’s cancelled! Really NBC????
I would love to see a second session.
Omg please Renew! love this show!
Amazing show. I love it. I can’t believe that it is not being brought back for another season The actors and actresses are so good. I hope that someone else picks them up RENEW
What a shame. This series was very engaging. My whole family enjoyed the suspense and couldn’t wait for the bad guys to get what they deserved. There is not much on TV these days that the whole family can watch together. Extremely disappointing. I’m boycotting NBC!!!
I am thru with nbc….if you are going to cancel a show like game of silence you have to at least wrap it up! I will not watch new nbc shows!
This was a great show. NBC is cancelingredients some of their best new shows. It’s a shame. I’ll start watching other stations that don’t cancel all the good shows. Too bad.
My favorite show! Are you kidding me? I suppose they’ll put on another reality show. What a bunch of ……
Excellent show. Great acting. Suspenseful story. Could not believe the network left viewers hanging without an ending. Bring back Game of Silence. One of the few good reasons to turn on the television.
Renew. Good television programs are in short supply
