As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I didn’t get the watch the show on t.v. but found my ways to watch the whole season in 2 days and all I can say is that it was addicting and it was the bomb .. I really hope fox could reconsider airing the show or have another channel air the second season
really i can’t believe it the only show i watched it with my husband and son couldn’t wait till thursday come since its over thursdays or fox is not the same. pls bring it back the best show ever. ever!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that Fox made a huge mistake for canceling Gang Related! Would I watch Season 2? FOR SURE!!! Why even cancelled when it’s a late night show anyways?? I truly hope that another Tv channel picks it up. Fox has done this more then once and to be honest,if Gang Related dosent come back, I know my Tv will not watch shows on channel Fox 13 again. Very disappointed Fox 🙁
My wife and I were so disappointed that there will not be a second season. The series was well written. It’s hard to get viewers to watch tv during the summer when everyone goes on vacation and would rather sit outside and enjoy the weather.
Please bring the show back. It was soooo good.

Gang Related was a great show. I would watch the second season…the second season should be about going after the Cartel
That’s a bunch of Bull……..the show was awesome! I can’t stand when ratings dictate how long a show stays on the air. The show was very different. The background to it was very interesting. So many things left in the air…..maybe someone else will pick it up. Bad decision Fox!!!!

What I liked about the show was how it was a different angle on the traditional cop show … I loved how they walked that fine line … supposed good guys doing bad things and supposed bad guys doing good things. Such twists and edge of your seat drama. Please come back! I need to know how it ends!
It shouldn’t have been cancelled . It was a great show. They could’ve advertised it better or changed its time slot because I think it was competing against a bigger show which I can’t even remember what that show was because I tuned into gang related with enthusiasm and loyalty every Thursday night and I didn’t care what else was on, truthfully I am praying another network will pick it up.

I loved this show…and I am so dissappointed in Fox for cancelling it. I never really watched fox. I only watched for American Idol and I got bored with American Idol years ago. I happened to see previews to the show Gang related and it looked interesing to me I watched and was hooked. Now I have no reason to watch FOX anymore!!
