As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I can’t believe Fox has cancelled Gang Related. Why is it that Latino-themed shows seem to last only one season? Hmmm??? This show wasn’t given a fair shot. It was aired during the summer when viewship is low and there was little to no promotion. The cast was exceptional, each episode brought exciting twists, and the season finale was captivating. I cant believe Gang Related is cancelled. What the hell is Fox thinking. Maybe they can replace it with another idiotic reality show. Now I remember why I dropped my cable/Satelite company. I hope another channel picks it up and profits of it.
I am so upset that Gang Related was cancelled! I would absolutely watch it on another channel. I hate when I get so invested in a show and then you get left hanging with no answers or resolutions. BIG MISTAKE 🙁 ugh

LOVE this show!! Why is it whenever there IS a great show on these networks cancel? I don’t get it. May as well cancel television all together, all that is on is crappy reality stuff . KEEP THE SHOW ON!! If FOX is stupid enough to cancel it, put it on another channel!
I loved this show. Grabbed my attention from the beginning. I am so disappointed it’s cancelled.
It’s a shame we had to use Fox as a way of exposing Chris Morgan as a cover/alias face for HOLMES 54.81. Chris meant Christmas, And Morgan’s is a trawler business that sells seafood, I haven’t made a FATF 8 because IsIs are in the roads path for that movie, and I still haven’t been paid for the first 7 movies, It’s hard work that I love making TFAFT sequels, I want the money from them first, and that means no more FATF sequels, it ends with regression towards the end ageing characters. F@&k Universal for there **** contract!

Sad..just sad that fox only cares about ratings. If u care so much about ratings why do u bring these awesome shows out in the spring and mid summer when u know majority of people sacrifice what they would watch to enjoy summer activities. U know ratings are better in winter month. Why make loyal fans suffer like that its not our fault. Just sad…fox does this all the time to go on and replace a good show for something worse.
