The premiere was a big improvement over what ABC had been getting in the timeslot but isn’t exactly an impressive premiere. Pan Am and The River, which will both surely be cancelled, debuted much better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like GCB TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Please, please, please renew GCB! Love, love, love the show.
I love this show! I do not find it offensive and appreciate the satire and wit! I wish it were coming back and am so sad that it is cancelled.

Finally a show my husband and I both agree on. Shame on abc for cancelling it.
GCB is amazing, please don’t cancel it! I know many people that watch it religiously (pun intended), there’s an audience out there for it (considering it tied for second in that time slot). I understand some are offended by the title of the show, but who cares? It’s based off of a book. If there’s one thing this show has taught me, it’s that I’m taking “*****” back. If all of these strong female characters are considered *******, I would be honored by the comparison. Watch just one episode, you may notice this strange sound emanate from within–it’s call laughter.… Read more »
PLEASE RENEW! My mother and I love to watch this show together. We would both be devastated if cancelled.
Renew it! It’s campy but fun. Both my husband and I enjoy watching it. The characters are very appealing in an OMG kind of way. And the relationships are surprisingly complex and dynamic. Love, love, love the actors. Please keep this show on. There’s so few shows to watch where you can just relax and have a good laugh.
CANCEL this show and find something entertaining……………. The MUSIC is TOO LOUD in relation to the volume levels of the show as well as the STUPID, STUPID, STUPID content. It is insulting to put this junk on TV. As bad as REALITY shows…………..
I think this is the most entertaining show in a very long time! It’s even funnier after having lived in Oklahoma for a few years…these women are spot on! You just don’t get and can’t truly appreciate the humor unless you’ve seen it up close. Hilarious….
This is a wonderful, light show. We tivo it every Sunday and watch it during the week (early risers – can’t stay up late to watch it live.) We wouldn’t miss it! Please renew the show!
This is the first show in a long time that I actually like
please please please renew!!!!!!
TV has become such a waste land of junk. This program is funny and a delight to watch. Please give it a chance to grow this season.
Terrible show! It’s very sexist and I hope it’s canceled.
This is the first show my husband and I do not disagree on. We DRV it every Sunday so we can watch it together on Monday. It is light and funny – refreshing from reality TV.
Please renew awsome show.. I want to know what happens between pastor tudor and amanda
