HBO has renewed Getting On for a second season of six episodes. The first season of the dark comedy, which debuted in November, also had a half dozen episodes.
Getting On revolves around the dysfunctional staff that work on the geriatric floor of a hospital. The show stars Laurie Metcalf, Niecy Nash, Alex Borstein and Mel Rodriguez.
What do you think? Have you watched Getting On? Do you think it should have been renewed for a second season or cancelled instead?
I love Getting On. It is pure comedy at its’ Best. Laurie and her entourage are fabulous
Enerybody gels perfectly…PLEASE keep RENEWING
Loved it!! I was hoping that it would get renewed. This is a great show!!
Loved this quirky, dark comedy. Excellent casting! So happy to hear it has been picked up for a second season although I wish there were more than six episodes.
I love this show. The episode with Varla made me laugh and laugh, as a lot of what goes on does go on in the hospitals. The character who played Varla, June Squibb, was nominated for best supporting actress this year for an Oscar. I’m so glad this was renewed.
Love it! Looking forward to season two.
How did it get renewed for episode two much less season two. I used to pay for HBO just for the quality HBO tv show now with shows like this I am not going to bother.
Love it! A perfect little gem. Wonder why it only gets 6 episodes per season. Is HBO having a trust issue?
