Is Ghost Hunters ending? Yesterday, star Jason Hawes confirmed the series will leave Syfy at the end of season 11.
Ghost Hunters follows Hawes and Grant Wilson, two paranormal investigators who explore allegedly haunted locations. The unscripted series premiered on Syfy in 2004.
On his Facebook, Hawes said Ghost Hunters was choosing to end their relationship with the network. The reasons why remain unclear:
It doesn’t sound like the series is cancelled however. Hawes hinted at “huge things in the works.” Season 11 of Ghost Hunters is expected to premiere this fall on Syfy.
What do you think? Do you watch Ghost Hunters? Are you sad it’s leaving Syfy?
I believe that Jason hawes should go with a new network, it is very sad because I have watched since the beginning I will miss them very much. I hope to see them again on a new network.
I have watched and enjoyed Ghost Hunters since it began. There are many other “ghost” shows on TV now, but they use too many “gimmicks” like those “spirit or ghost boxes” . TAPS does not tell you that you have ghosts in your house…rather they try to disprove this.by recreating your claims. I have learned so much from watching this show . I hope they will try another network like Destination America.
I’ve been a fan since day one and have made a nice hobby out of visiting places they have investigated! I live in a 1839 haunted house and would love to have them visit. I don’t know why Grant left but it seems the 3rd string is fleshing out the ranks now. Love Steve and Tango, and Jason. Will follow the show forever!
I will miss Ghost Hunters but I really feel the show has not been the same since Grant left the show
I’m disappointed to hear that Ghost Hunters will not be returning for another Season. Why are top shows cancelled? However, internet hints share that the Ghost Hunters series may continue, but leaves no clues to when and where as well as why the show was cancelled. Anyhow, I enjoyed watching Ghost Hunters for 11 Seasons and the unique personality and talent each TAPS member brought to the show. I wish you all the best and hope the TAPS team return to television in the near future.
IAM A HUGE LOYAL FAN OF GHOST HUNTERS WATCHED THEM RELIGIOUSLY …I’M SO UPSET THEY ARE LEAVING. BUT HOPE THAT THEY WILL RETURN. HOPEFULLY ON ANOTHER NETWORK PLEASE KEEP UR FANS INFORMED. IT’S NOT OVER. THERE ARE STILL MORE GHOSTS TO EXPLORE.
I have been a fan since the beginning.including the spinoffs. I hope they will continue sharing their experiences with us. I will watch wherever they end up next.
I love Ghost Hunters. It saddens me that the show is ending after season 11. I have never missed an episode. My hope is that the team and producers can reach some sort of agreement that will allow this series to continue.
As one writer stated, Wednesday nights will not be the same without GH to look forward to. However, look forward to whatever brings the team back for further ghostly investigations!
I have watched the show from day one, hope it does not go to a network that I will not be able to access.
I have watched Ghost Hunters since day 1. I have always enjoyed it except this year. To me, and I am sure others will disagree, it is boring this year. Its missing the spark it use to have.
I love this show! I hope it is not the end! I have watched every season and the reruns!!!!
Have watched all seasons but the last two have been lack luster. I will miss them. The earlier shows were exciting.
I will always watch Ghost Hunters as long as they are on. I never felt that Syfy was the appropriate network anyway. I have watched Ghost Adventures and they are silly and stupid. Very nonprofessional. I am a 63 y/o retired Social Worker and have always taken a great interest in the paranormal. Hopefully GH will return and will make a great announcement as to what network they will be on:-)
love ghost hunters please don’t leave sfy.
