Jim Gordon could use some good news, and we’ve got it. The Gotham TV show has been renewed for season four on FOX.
A Batman prequel series, Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon, years before he became Gotham City’s police commissioner. The FOX cast also includes: Donal Logue, Morena Baccarin, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Jessica Lucas, Chris Chalk, Drew Powell, and Michael Chiklis.
Gotham: A Look at the Ratings
The third season of Gotham averaged a 1.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.40 million viewers. Compared to season two, that was down by 21% and 17%, respectively. By both measures, it is in the top half of FOX TV shows so the renewal makes sense, because it will increase the size of the show’s syndication package.

I love this show pure genius I was Bench watching from beginning to the third season on Netflix is my number one favorite show I just love how each character was introduced And of course if you are a DC Fan this show is for you keep it coming I love this show I want this on my DVD collection must have and of course you can get in on your local Walmart

I really dig the show. The writing is tight, the acting is kool and the Babes are fine as Hell! A winning formula have you!
I am quite pleased it will be back. Given how the last episode ended, I’m thinking the perfect way to go out would be to reimagine (slightly) the Batman: Year One story arc from the comics (and animated film.) Gotham as we know it will change radically after the Dark Knight fully emerges, so it would be a spectacular coda to the series.
And perhaps a springboard for a NEW series…?

I have not missed a single episode!
The show is greatness and and there is a hell of a lot of fans out there that feels the way I do and as of the ratings go is maybe it’s down because ppl can rewatch it on Hulu or something maybe that’s why so try showing the full season first before letting people see what they missed or show it twice a week and if the ratings are still going down then don’t cancel it put it on Netflix or something because there still is Gotham still has Fan’s that will keep watching no matter what I know… Read more »
Easily my favorite show and should be kept until batman becomes batman, creating a new tv show because this is amazing
Renew Gotham is a very good show, I been watching since the beginning and I definitely want to watch the whole series.
