Jim Gordon could use some good news, and we’ve got it. The Gotham TV show has been renewed for season four on FOX.
A Batman prequel series, Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon, years before he became Gotham City’s police commissioner. The FOX cast also includes: Donal Logue, Morena Baccarin, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Jessica Lucas, Chris Chalk, Drew Powell, and Michael Chiklis.
Gotham: A Look at the Ratings
The third season of Gotham averaged a 1.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.40 million viewers. Compared to season two, that was down by 21% and 17%, respectively. By both measures, it is in the top half of FOX TV shows so the renewal makes sense, because it will increase the size of the show’s syndication package.

Like every show nowadays, when there is some succes, they try to milk the cow till she bleeds. Problem with Gotham? All the super villains are created… No time anymore to waste at episodes dancing around. They build the tension themselves to have, at last, the mythical batman himself to arise, with his flaws as he starts of… It already was a missed chance to send him off training at the end of season 2. I see Gotham being like smallville only thing Gotham Bruce is a kid (great) with cat. Th8s can grow to be one of the greatest TV shows ever. With today’s technology if they can capture all of the streaming videos they may find more people are not watching commercials just straight streams, episode after episodes. Me and my granddaughter would sing `somebody save me’ (smallville theme somg) as we walked around the house. My family is a huge fan of Gotham. The characters are so strange and unique. The set design is like no other. I have never seen a show so visually bright and dark in the same vain. I can watch this show just for its vivid sets and colorful design. Wow. Nothing has ever been done like this before. Haunting. Visually unique. Keep up the good work.

I have watched Gotham from the beginning and have recorded ever episode!! I am so very happy that there will be a season four. I watched Batman and Robin afterschool when was a little girl loved loved it
