About “Greenleaf”
“Greenleaf” takes viewers into the unscrupulous world of the Greenleaf family and their sprawling Memphis megachurch, where scandalous secrets and lies are as numerous as the faithful. The series centers on the journey of estranged daughter and disillusioned preacher Grace Greenleaf (Merle Dandridge, “The Night Shift”) who has returned home after 20 years on the occasion of the mysterious death of her sister, Faith. As she reenters the world of Calvary Fellowship World Ministries, the Memphis megachurch run by her powerful parents Bishop James Greenleaf (Keith David, “Community“) and Lady Mae Greenleaf (Lynn Whitfield, “The Josephine Baker Story”), it becomes evident that things are not as virtuous as they seem and that the family’s outward display of faith hides sin and misdeeds. The series also stars Lamman Rucker (“Why Did I Get Married?”), Deborah Joy Winans (“Whitney”), GregAlan Williams (“The Accountant”), Kim Hawthorne (“Switched at Birth“), Tye White (“The People Vs. O.J. Simpson“), Rick Fox (“Dope”), Desiree Ross (“Falling Skies“) and Lovie Simone.
“Greenleaf” is produced for OWN by Lionsgate in association with Harpo Films and Pine City. Executive producers are Oprah Winfrey (“Selma”), Craig Wright (“Lost,” “Six Feet Under”) and Clement Virgo (“The Book of Negroes”).

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Greenleaf TV series? Are you happy it has been renewed for season three on OWN?
Please bring Greenleaf back for season 3. I Love This Show. Thank you. Bring Greenleaf Back…
I loved Greenleaf and I am looking forward to next season. I don’t compare shows but when you put the good doctor, stuff I don’t care about in a higher rating it upsets me. I don’t watch much TV per say, but I like this show, please do not cancel.
Absolutely a fan! Waiting for Season 3! Please bring it back. It was so authentically produced ~ a fact that would be probably clear to anyone with a church background. The music is amazing, and I love the two preacher characters the Bishop and his disillusioned preacher daughter. Their preaching is real. Been there, seen that: it’s real.
I love the show! I’m binge watching and re-watching it via Netflix and look forward to the next season.
I love the writing, the twists and turns and how some of the story lines are related and relevant to scripture. I also like how the characters are created to be so realistic and true to life. The sinners that we are.
Keep up the good work.
Love Greenleaf. Classy actors/actresses. It is the best I’ve seen on OWN. It was hard waiting from one week to the next to see what was going to happen. The writers are very talented.
Love the show. It is simply one of the best ever on OWN.
Great drama seriess, the acting is superb, good feeling to see people that look like you perform on television. Good to know that black actors/actresses are employed and employable. Renew this series.
I absolutely love this show, and look forward to it every week.
I am anxiously awaiting Season 3 of Greenleaf. I have thoroughly enjoyed seasons 1 & 2.
I love this show. I bendged watched it on Netflix and absolutely loved this storyline. It’s down to earth of how “Christian” folk are not always holier than tho. The higher ups in the Church sin too. Oprah is wonderful in this and would actually like to see more of her acting. My favorite is “Grace Greenleaf” and I’m anxious for season 3 to see more of the “Eye Candy “ Darius Nash”. Him and Grace make a beautiful couple. I can’t say enough about the whole show in general except that I’m excited for more of this Christian Drama.
Love love love the show!! It’s already tackled so many issues that hits home to most in some type of form or fashion. If you’re not watching, you are missing out!!
I love Greenleaf but was a bit disappointed with last week’s episode of Jacob and Karissa’s bed scenes. While I recognize they are married and some things are private and permissible in marriage, I don’t think it was good to promote this type of behavior on what some of us consider a clean and descent show; makes me a bit leery to watch this week.
I love Greenleaf. Christians are not perfect but striving to be. I have all of my friends hooked on the series. What do we need to do to keep it on? Great actors and script. Great fans! #Greenleaf
i am a huge fan of Greenleaf and the fact that it might not be returning for a 4th season is almost unbearable.. please lord give me my Greenleaf, I need my Grreenleaf!!!!!!
I am looking forward to greenleaf returning to OWN network. I have been on pins and needles waiting for it to come back. Great action and great cast.
