Grimm aired its 100th episode on NBC last week, and it has been a fight for the series to make it that far, according to David Giuntoli. He spoke about the series in an interview with The Los Angeles Times this week, and he made one shocking revelation.
Season six could be the last season for this series. NBC has not yet renewed the series though, so it could very well end with the fifth season. Fans will need to wait for news on the fate of the series.
The series’ 100th episode did answer a big question. Nick and Monroe found the treasure that was hinted at during the start of the series. They managed to uncover it on the last episode, and it had great power. It healed Monroe from an infected bite.
Giuntoli said the following about the future of the series:
“It’s very rare that an actor gets so many opportunities between “action” and “cut.” Most of your time as an actor is spent trying to get to that point, not living within those two points, and when you’re on a long-running series, you have so much time in between those two moments to actually yell “cut.” So, I’m ever grateful for all of the opportunities I get to kind of change it up — fix things, better things, tweak things. If we get a Season 6, it could very well be our last season, and it will be the first time that the writers would get to write to an ending. If we do, it’ll be a very fun ride, with major events.”
The series has been a Friday night staple for several seasons, but the ratings have seen a dip this season. Do you want a sixth season of this series? Tell us what you think.
Grimm must continue for several mores seasons, it is the best show on TV! ==

Grimm is the only show I watch faithfully. Please at least one more season. One of the few shows I watch regularly. Give the writers time to write a “proper” ending.
Please do not cancel Grimm – or at least give the fans Season 6. THe writers need time to do justice to the show and write a kick butt finale.
Season 6 at the very least!!!! It’s the series I love most together with ouat. I could basically swear off all other series but these two!!!! please renew it!!!!
This is my favorite program, I hope immensely it gets at least one more season!
Ilove this show, but it needs a season 6 to wrap it all up well, tie it up with a bow and give the fans something they not often get, a good finale. not just watch the last episode and then, search for it next season only to find that the fans didnt count for antything for the very people [execs] who make their money off our backs
Yes I would like Grimm to continue as a series but maybe switch the location like film a bit of an episode in Australia to gain acknowledge and gain more viewers and maybe add another star actor to the mix that’s popular with fans, since Grimm has started it has been my favourite tv show for five straight seasons cause I can never lose interest in it and I actually live in Melbourne Australia and tune in every Monday night I’ve never missed an episode of this great show but to keep it alive you have to be creative and… Read more »
I would miss the show. Its part of my friday night ritual.
Keep the series going! We look forward to this Friday night tradition.
This show needs to come to it’s rightful conclusion which means at least a sixth season so it can be closed out right. I would rather see it go for several more years, but I realize in this day and age that money is everything. It would certainly change my Friday nights with out the show.
Please do not even consider to cancel GRIMM, it is the best show ever bar none, since Season 1/Episode 1 Friday was renamed GRIMM night in our house and we love it, our household has never missed an episode of this wonderful show and why do we love it so much, because for the first time there is a program that we can sit and enjoy as a Family, a program so entertaining that brings a Family together. I’ll ask again, please don’t cancel GRIMM, there are still to many exciting plots and storylines to use, connect and bring together… Read more »
