After years of fighting for ratings, Grimm doesn’t have to worry about being cancelled this time around. It’s already been announced that the NBC series is ending and won’t be back for a seventh season. Will Grimm’s ratings continue to fall this time around or, will they see a resurgence? Stay tuned.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. The rest of the NBC cast includes Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bitsie Tulloch, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee. Recurring performers include Chris McKenna, Jacqueline Toboni, and Danny Bruno.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/1 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The fifth season of Grimm on NBC averaged a 0.89 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.94 million viewers (live + same day ratings).
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV series on NBC? Do you think it should be ending or would you watch season seven?
Always losing the good shows!!!!!!! Too many reality shows plus the Walking Dead can go and not be missed. It’s disgusting that you can’t leave a good show alone.
NBC has 13 scripted shows and 3 games shows, a news show, and 1 reality show. How is that too many reality shows? And what does the Walking Dead have to do with what shows NBC keeps?
WELL. THEY SAY, IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY, THEN DONT SAY ANY THING. YUCK.!!! EPISODE 4.!!!!!
I never understood why more people don’t watch Grimm. I anticipate Grimm every Friday during my day at work (7th,8th &9th grade ELA teacher). Very few of my students have ever heard of it, let alone actually watch an episode. I have been watching Grimm since it started. I remember watching the previews for Grimm– being so excited for the first episode. It never has disappointed me. I love the story line. This is my favorite show since Friends. I am truly saddened to see it come to an end. I didn’t realize, until reading on this site, that shows… Read more »
Right, and a lot of people go out on Friday night. It doesn’t seem fair the way they rate. They never really gave Grimm a real break IMHO. It seemed like it was all about NBC trying to sabotage the show.
I love Grimm!! This always happens, especially with NBC, they move a good show around and the sure death in ratings is move it to Friday night; what did they expect? BTW I am not in the demo age that they like to target, I am older, guess I don’t count, but at least I am home on Friday night. I agree with the other reader, maybe Netflix’s will get it.
I am so surprised at the low ratings – I am glued to each episode. So sorry it is going away – maybe Netflix could pick it up? I LOVE Grimm.
We love Grimm in our house. A real shame to see go. Way to go NBC…killing another good show. NOT HAPPY.
ME too!!!!
GOOD EPISODE.!! GOOD TWIST AT THE END.!! but your still running out of time.!!
My question is Why hasn’t there been any advertising of it starting up this season. If I wasn’t a advide watcher I would miss the show. totally love this show and many more should come.
LAST SEASON.!!! AND THE WRITERS, ARE STILL PLAYING INTRO WITH THE CAST.!! SAME BS. WILL GET 10 BAD EPISODES, AND THE LAST 3 WILL BE ACTION PACKED, THEIR STILL LOTS OF BAD WESEN. BUT THEIR GOING TO MAKE THIS ABOUT NICK & RENARD. OH AND THE STICK.!!?? AND PS THE FIRST 2 EPISODES NOT WORTH A REWATCH.!!!
It was initially reported that the sixth season of NBC’s “Grimm” will consist of “at least” 13 episodes, and the exact number of episodes for that final season has not been determined. This was an indication that “Grimm”‘s sixth season may consist of 14, 15, or 16 episodes. I believe production on “Grimm”‘s final season wrapped in December of 2016. Bitsie Tulloch (one of “Grimm”‘s stars) said on her Twitter account that the series’s total episode count will be 123, an indication that the exact number of episodes for the sixth and final season of NBC’s “Grimm” is indeed 13.… Read more »
I will always watch Grimm I love it and think NBC is i’m for canceling it because this one the best shows on NBC and it’s good it is and it’s some good content is not real bad and it’s a good show to watch, I think NBC is dumb for canceling it because it’s a good show it’s better love the nasty enough they have on TV like I’m not gonna repeat them but I wish Grimm would have seven season because I watch it.
I am thoroughly disgusted in the way the the tv stations arrange their shows in the seasons. I plan to watch the next season and the show is not there. I have been watching Grimm, but it never seems to be in the right place, whether it be season, day or time. When I finally do find it almost a year later, I am missing parts of it. I usually don’t like the substitutes. I believe people end up losing interest in the show and the ratings drop. There was a new series on after Grimm and I decided that… Read more »
I would watch to season 100 and more.
This was a somewhat disappointing episode, but at least we now know, without a doubt, that Renard is Nick’s enemy if we didn’t know it by now. This is without a doubt the best show on T.V., but with its competition being the View, Oprah, and mindless sitcoms with hidden political messages, that’s might not be saying much. This is an unusual show with an unusual premise, and as such it doesn’t need to be cancelled, but it’s like M*A*S*H*, it’s best to quit while you’re on top, which, in my mind at least, GRIMM definitely is, but I still… Read more »
