After years of fighting for ratings, Grimm doesn’t have to worry about being cancelled this time around. It’s already been announced that the NBC series is ending and won’t be back for a seventh season. Will Grimm’s ratings continue to fall this time around or, will they see a resurgence? Stay tuned.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. The rest of the NBC cast includes Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bitsie Tulloch, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee. Recurring performers include Chris McKenna, Jacqueline Toboni, and Danny Bruno.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/1 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The fifth season of Grimm on NBC averaged a 0.89 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.94 million viewers (live + same day ratings).
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV series on NBC? Do you think it should be ending or would you watch season seven?
I would love to see the season 7 think you should would miss this loads if it just ended like that
Love, love, love Grimm and all the characters. Bring this show back. Are the decision-makers wise to cancel such a great show!
Yes we all want another season over here
We ve been watching this serie for so many years…we want more Grimm
Please please please
I hate this, why is every show I start watching leaves? I enjoy watching Grimm, I couldn’t find the tv show for awhile until I caught it on amazon prime. Now I’m hooked and I watch it everyday when I get home from work. I don’t understand why the best tv shows leaves and they air crappy tv shows that don’t even last long. Please bring it back, it’s a wonderful show (I’ll even get cable to increase rating). I know one doesn’t even make a difference. Even though, it’ll be missed. Good Bye Nick Burkhardt!
