TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

Soooooo disappointed this unique show has to come to an end. NEVER missed an episode. Hey FX, why not make their loss your station’s gain????
Loved Grimm & so hate that it has been cancelled. Like so many other great shows with great characters & acting,
plus keeping most of the characters & really quality sci fi, it was cancelled. Cannot understand the net works anymore…….SAD
I love this show and am terribly disappointed that the never-been-clever network is continuing their habit of cancelling shows I love. I would have happily watched it until Diana is grown and married…I love these characters and the actors who portray them and will deeply miss them. We need some fantasy in our lives, where the good guys always win and the bad guys go to jail (or wherever they go when they are taken away). Thank heaven for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and the Food Network….it’s getting to the point that the “big four” networks no longer have shows with… Read more »
I’m pissed really?!
Please don’t Take this off. It is one of the better shows on tv. It is very clever and has awesome effects. I love it. It is so much better than those stupid really shows. If it isn’t getting the best reviews then put it on a better night not hide it on fridays. Save GRIMM!!!!!!!
Grimm has the best story line and most creative writers. Can’t believe it’s coming to an end. And, yes, it is very uniquely great. I like it so much, each episode is so intense and interesting that it just zooms by that one hour is just not enough. Will miss my favorite show.
NBC.. Grimm FANS WANT NICK..Monore..Captain +Gang to STAY…
NEXT JOB for NICK..
SPACE COWBOY??…REALLY?
if grimm is cancelled i might as well trash the tv since i only watch 3 shows i like one of them being grimm
There goes NBC, seems like they don’t know a great series when they have one. Seems like the only shows they keep on that station is nothing but CRAP!!! When Grimm ends, then I will go to the other networks and NBC can then stick it!
I am in denial that Grimm has been cancelled. There are so many directions for it to continue and the stories to tell are limitless. My Friday night lineup is dissolved….
Netflix here I come….
I seriously think a friend and I will have to seek counceling after Grimm ends. We must have no life as we watch it together but apart from our homes! Other series have come back so why not Grimm ?
I love this show and would watch faithfully. One of only 5 shows I watch EVERY week it’s on.
Please DO NOT CANCEL this program. We look forward to this show every week. Please reconsider!
This is the only series I look forward to each season. Hopefully NBC will reconsider and not cancel it. Love the entire cast! Please don’t cancel!
I really wish NBC would rethink and reverse its decision to cancel Grimm. This show is one of the most compelling TV series on the air. Please renew it!
I’m a 74 year old woman and I too would love it if they would continue with the series.
one of the best shows available for all ages, in a much better time slot this year. wish it culd go on and on…
