Jenna Elfman’s last NBC sitcom, 1600 Penn, only lasted one short season because of low ratings. Will Growing Up Fisher be cancelled as well or will it be renewed for a second season instead? Stay tuned.
Growing Up Fisher follows an unorthodox family that becomes closer after the parents divorce. The cast includes Elfman, J. K. Simmons, Eli Baker, Ava Deluca-Verley, and Lance Lim. Jason Bateman is the show’s narrator.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/9 update: Growing Up Fisher has been cancelled by NBC.
Final season averages: 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.88 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like Growing Up Fisher? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for second season?
Please bring this wonderful show back, it is refreshing and has values so obviously missing from today’s lineup. It is AMERICANA, there is nothing wrong with Norman Rockwell ideology, we need to bring SOME sense of values back to this great nation.
Please bring it back! My husband and LOVE Growing Up Fisher!
Bring the show back, please. It is fun, cute and sweet at the same time. I wish they would bring it back 🙁
Oh wonderful !! A great show like this gets axed and another vulgar, stupid, ignorant, dumb reality show will take its place. I guess that’s what the majority of today’s society wants to watch…..pitiful

Bring it back ..
I really liked “Growing Up Fisher.” It is one of the few shows on television not full of vulgarity and violence. It was cute and different. Please, please bring it back!
I enjoyed growing up fisher and would like to see the show back on
Bring it back was looking forward to seeing it this season It was a great family show
Please bring it back! I don’t watch much TV because a lot of the shows are, I’m going to say it, stupid, crazy, or dumb. This show, in my opinion, ranks right up there with The Middle. By taking away Growing Up Fisher, I only have very few TV shows to watch.
