The CW has announced that the fourth season of Hart of Dixie will debut on Friday, January 9th. There will be just 10 episodes. Some in the cast have indicated that this may be the final season but the network hasn’t made it official yet.
In addition, Masters of Illusion will also return on January 9th. There are four episodes left over from the show’s summer run.
Here are the details:
SOUTHERN-CHARMER “HART OF DIXIE” AND MAGICAL “MASTERS OF ILLUSION” RETURN FRIDAY, JANUARY 9
November 4, 2014 (Burbank, California) — The CW announced today that the new season of HART OF DIXIE will return with 10 episodes beginning Friday, January 9 (9:00-10:00pm ET). Rachel Bilson leads a stellar ensemble cast in this fish-out-of-water comedic drama about small-town living, big city attitudes and complicated love triangles set in quirky BlueBell, Alabama.
Also on January 9 (8:00-8:30pm ET), MASTERS OF ILLUSION will return with four original episodes, leading into encore episodes of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? (8:30-9:00pm ET). Hosted by actor Dean Cain (“Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”), MASTERS OF ILLUSION showcases great escapes, fascinating sleight-of-hand and large scale illusions – each episode more spectacular than the one before – and all in front of a studio audience.
HART OF DIXIE is from Bonanza Productions Inc., in association with Fake Empire, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Leila Gerstein (“Gossip Girl,” “Eli Stone”), Josh Schwartz (“Gossip Girl,” “Chuck,” “The O.C.”), Stephanie Savage (“Gossip Girl,” “The O.C.”) and Len Goldstein.
MASTERS OF ILLUSION is from Associated Television International with executive producers David McKenzie (“The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” “Marie”), Al Schwartz (“The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” “The Golden Globe Awards” 2013 & 2014, “The Gulf is Back”), Gay Blackstone (“The World Magic Awards” 2007-2009) and David Martin (“Marie”), along with co-executive producers Justin Pierce (“The Rocky Saga: Going the Distance”) and Jim Romanovich (“Inside Story: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”).
What do you think? Will you be watching the new season of Hart of Dixie? Do you think this will be the final season?
LOVE THE SHOW. EVERYONE IS GREAT.PLEASE LET THE SHOW KEEP GOING. I LOVE EVERYONE IS GREAT. CAN;T WAIT TO SEE IT AGAIN.LET;S HAVE THREE MORE SEASON;S. I KNOW THE CAST IS READY TO GO AND DO OTHER THINGS. BUT AM SURE GONNA MISS THEM.THEY BRING JOY IN MY FAMILY. THANK;S
Hart of Dixie should have a “final season” soon but I’ll be shocked if it gets renewed for a fifth and definite “final season”.
Agree. Wish the story line didn’t change from zoe being a doctor. Would have stayed with it. The people at cw should stop toying around with it. If they gave her 10episodes which didn’t hsve to do with Rachel being pregnant at all. Het dur date was oct. Seem like it had come and gone. She won’t be able to do any work. Do hart of dixie will be at 9:00pn? 9:00 is bad news for the show. They might as well not show it then. Then they might as well say it’s cancelled after the time slot.
Love this show! Have watched it since the beginning and eagerly waiting its return.
