What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Syfy cable network, Killjoys stars Aaron Ashmore, Luke Macfarlane, and Hannah John-Kamen star. Dutch (John-Kamen), Johnny (Ashmore), and D’avin (Macfarland) are fun-loving, hard living interplanetary bounty hunters. They are sworn to remain impartial as they chase deadly warrants across the Quad — a distant system on the brink of a bloody, multi-planetary class war. In season three, they change their motto from The Warrant is All, to The War is All.
War is now brewing in the J Star System. After suffering personal loss, Dutch, Johnny, and D’avin steel themselves for encroaching threats. As the trio works to assemble an army, a perilous force – the disturbed daughter of Dutch’s late mentor Khlyen, and Dutch doppelganger, Aneela – is gunning for them.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Killjoys is averaging a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 624,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 7% and down by 3%, respectively. Find out how Killjoys stacks up against the other Syfy TV shows.
On September 1, 2017, Killjoys was renewed for fourth and fifth seasons but season five will be the end. Season four will debut July 20, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
The ratings have been about the same as last season’s. Because the cable network co-produces the show with Canada’s Space channel, its costs are lower, which increases its renewal chances. What a great show, I love the digs and commentary from the quick witted actors that I am sure most people miss but it is just great. I am glad that there is a continuation of the show and it doesn’t hurt to have an end as you can appropriately finish the story rather than just be left in the lurch. It doesn’t have to be a clean, neat ending either just an ending that might make you want more and hope that the future may produce an offshoot. There will be a season FOUE and a season FIVE, but the show will end after season FTVE. Congrats to the fans.
This is a really good show, so many twists and turns that keep you guessing, I need a season 4.

I’m not sure where Killjoys is headed, but I’d like to go along.
Killjoys has to continue, it cannot be cancelled. This show has it all.
Theres drama action fun and jokes and sexual tension and it’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Also Hannah John-Kamen has the sexiest British accent ever. The energy between the trio is fenomenal. Please dont cancel it….
This sci fi is a lot of fun besides being clever. The lead actress is very convincing as the experienced hunter and her two chums play their brotherly roles equally well. There is plenty of scope to introduce fresh characters and subplots that can add unanticipated interventions that create lengthy distractions from what seems the most likely endgame.
The live ratings look like they will be worse than last season, which is no surprise, but it has better ratings than Wynonna Earp(which was renewed.) I would expect it to be back.

I would be devastated if they don’t make a 4th season….with the whole building up to the big battle would just not be right!!! like buying an ice cream cone without the ice cream!!
