On Knock Knock Live, host Ryan Seacrest presents the show from a “mission control” studio guides a team of co-hosts who show up completely unannounced at various locations across the country and knock on the doors of unsuspecting residents. Once the doors open — they’re on live television in front of millions of people. Events include playing a game to pay off a mortgage, getting a surprise marriage proposal, or having a person’s favorite celebrity show up. Co-hosts include Tyler Posey, Kellie Pickler, Adrienne Bailon, Ross Mathews, Chuey Martinez, and Jordan “Shorty” Johnson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
