Another TV show cliffhanger has been left unresolved. According to Radio & TV Talk, sitcom Let’s Stay Together has been cancelled after four seasons on BET.
A publicist for the cable channel confirmed that there won’t be a fifth season for the Atlanta-based comedy.
Of the cancellation, co-star RonReaco Lee said, “They finally put it to bed… It left on a cliffhanger. It’s unfortunate the show didn’t get a proper conclusion.” Lee noted that BET has been going through management changes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Let’s Stay Together has been cancelled and won’t be back for season five?
I am truly disappointed that the show was cancelled. I hope another network picks them up.
I’m pissed because I really liked the show & they (BET) could’ve given us a final season like they are doing with The Game now!
I’m disappointed it was canceled too. Positive show with black love. 🙁
I, too, am very disappointed that this show was cancelled. It genuinely was a good show with positive characters. I wish the network would consider bringing it back.
This totally sucks and I am no longer watching any cable shows because they end without warning and leave you totally et aww. I am sick of committing to these shows for years for the show to end without warning! I am done! No more cable sitcoms for me!!!
I loved that show too! I had it scheduled to record automatically on my DVR and was wondering why it hadn’t been recording. When I went to investigate I found this site and discovered the sad truth. I agree with a lot of the previous comments. There are several shows that portray African Americans in a strongly different light: murderers, thieves, gay, violent, sex driven, divorced, unemployed, etc. and getting #1 ratings. FINALLY when a show (s) that come on that shows African Americans HAPPILY married with good stable jobs and little, but real life drama, it doesn’t last. Same… Read more »
My sentiments to the T!!
I’m totally disgusted that “Let’s Stay Together” was cancelled! I loved that show! It’s very disappointing that a show like this, which portrays African-Americas in a positive light would be cancelled, while so many shows which portray African-Americans behaving “ratchet” continue to dominate the programming. I hope BET considers bringing it back! If BET is planning on airing new episodes of the VH1 show, “Single Ladies” (which had a proper Series Conclusion) on Centric, why then wouldn’t they continue with “Let’s Stay Together.”
I guess as a afro american we cannot have good quality shows to show black positivity as great contributors in american society
I love that show Lets Stay Together. Very disappointed it won’t come back to a 2nd season. There wasn’t a conclusion.

I loved this show because it portrayed a successful black woman who looks like me(literally). I’m so-o tired of watching shows that suppose to represent; but all I see similarly in appearance is hair??? What’s with that? Or, it’s some demeaning slave character.
I am very disappointed I loved this show
Utterly ridiculous, lets stay together was one of the few good sitcoms still left on the air and to not close it out properly is insane. Im getting tired of these shotty shows and reality tv. Just terrible smh
To cancel “Let’s Stay Together” at that time was like charging customers for admittance to a movie and then turning off the movie during the climax. Viewers invested their precious, valuable time (and money) to see that show. For it to end like this is theft.
I am disappointed that Let’s Stay Together is not returning for its fifth season. The show was very good, also you had a good cast of actors and actresses. To me it was a different kind of comedy.
Queen Latifah did an excellent job, of producing this show. Looked forward looking at it when I would come home from work.
Please think about putting it back on. . At least to find out how the characters will come
out for the fifth season.
Ian shocked Ti find out (JUST NOW), that “Let’s Stay Together” was Cancelled, after so many “Lesser Quality Shows” we’re renewed…
I’m so sorry that this happened to a delightfully funny show…
Sign of the Times, I guess…
Well, I guess I’ll turn to see how many Bachelors/Bachelorettes get Lucky tonight… Sigh!!!
