What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Longmire stars Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman, Adam Bartley, and A Martinez. Based on the Craig Johnson mystery novel series, the drama centers on Absaorka County, Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire (Taylor).
In November 2016, Longmire was renewed for a sixth season and final season. The finale was released on November 17, 2017. Could it return some day? Stay tuned for further updates.

Fans don’t have to spend season six wondering whether Netflix will cancel or renew Longmire for season seven. Last November, the streaming service announced it was renewed for a sixth and final season. Longmire fans have had a long time to prepare themselves for the end of this contemporary western crime thriller. It originally ran for three seasons on A&E. When the cable network cancelled Longmire, Netflix rode in for the rescue. At least this time, the writing team has had ample time to craft a suitable ending. I’ll still keep my eye out for news related to Longmire, so subscribe for free updates.

I just don’t understand why Longmire was canceled on Cable? It was popular with the Babyboomers, and there is a lot of us. And my understanding is that Longmire was popular on Netflix also, even though the quality of content was not as good. I loved it because there was no cussing and nudity, and you still had a great show. I would not feel uncomfortable watching it with my grandson. It was in good taste, and it brought out good vibes. I don’t understand why a interesting and enjoyable show could be cancelled. I was irritated when it was cancelled on cable and now when I paying for Netflix they didn’t continue after season 7; what a travesty. It needs to be brought back.
I will probably cancel my Netflix membership due to you cancelling Longmire. You’ve got to be kidding. Everybody I know and talk to watch this series, one of the best and you cancel? Utterly AMAZING

I have been the biggest fan of this show from Day 1. A&E made a huge mistake cancelling this show and KUDOS to Netflix for continuing what is truly one of THE best shows. PLEASE, PLEASE reconsider this decision and renew a new season for this outstanding Netflix show!!!
Our family has all episodes of Longmire. We are number 1 fans of the show. We are asking please don’t end this wonderful series. Robert and all the cast are perfect actors for this story. Please don’t let the story end. Thank you all. Finally something clean and good to watch that makes sense.
Like stop many others I’m canceling Netflix, Longmire was the reason I subscribed. Could easily go 20 years like Gunsmoke did.
