What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Longmire stars Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman, Adam Bartley, and A Martinez. Based on the Craig Johnson mystery novel series, the drama centers on Absaorka County, Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire (Taylor).
In November 2016, Longmire was renewed for a sixth season and final season. The finale was released on November 17, 2017. Could it return some day? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Fans don’t have to spend season six wondering whether Netflix will cancel or renew Longmire for season seven. Last November, the streaming service announced it was renewed for a sixth and final season. Longmire fans have had a long time to prepare themselves for the end of this contemporary western crime thriller. It originally ran for three seasons on A&E. When the cable network cancelled Longmire, Netflix rode in for the rescue. At least this time, the writing team has had ample time to craft a suitable ending. I’ll still keep my eye out for news related to Longmire, so subscribe for free updates.

Please don’t cancel Longmire! This has been one of the best series on Netflix. The writing is good and the actors are great. So disappointed to have his cancelled. The cast seems to have a real chemistry that comes across on film. I have loved every episode and would like to see every member of the cast brought back for a season seven!
Can anyone tell why they canceled Longmire, I don’t get it, this why I sign up for Netflix. Just need to know why they canceled.
Spent 21 years in broadcast and various other forms of the entertainment media. Seen some real nonsensical moves by many different factions relating to entertainment and news programming. The cancelation of Longmire ranks number one in my mind as far as any non – sense at all concerning the number one problem facing networks today – attracting and keeping eyeballs for advertisers and what other interest that have the need for blinkers. I want to see season 7 of longmire and more it is the best show ever
I love this show and I hate to see it come to an end., I was really disappointed and hoping they would continue to renew the show . I am sad to hear there will not be a season 7. I feel like I know all the characters personally and I would love to meet meet any of them especially Sheriff Longmire and his daughter.
