What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Longmire stars Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman, Adam Bartley, and A Martinez. Based on the Craig Johnson mystery novel series, the drama centers on Absaorka County, Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire (Taylor).
In November 2016, Longmire was renewed for a sixth season and final season. The finale was released on November 17, 2017. Could it return some day? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Fans don’t have to spend season six wondering whether Netflix will cancel or renew Longmire for season seven. Last November, the streaming service announced it was renewed for a sixth and final season. Longmire fans have had a long time to prepare themselves for the end of this contemporary western crime thriller. It originally ran for three seasons on A&E. When the cable network cancelled Longmire, Netflix rode in for the rescue. At least this time, the writing team has had ample time to craft a suitable ending. I’ll still keep my eye out for news related to Longmire, so subscribe for free updates.

In the process of binge watching all 6 seasons for the second time. LOVE the series and ALL the characters along with the spectacular scenery and story lines. Wish it would be brought back for more seasons. Not too often you get a quality ensemble cast with an excellent storyline!
yeah, my wife and I just discovered Longmire and tomorrow will be watching the last episode of season 6… It’s the first series in a long time that we’ve really enjoyed so much it’s going to be sad if it doesn’t come back. I like the days when as long as a show had a large loyal following they kept it going… think MASH, Cheers, etc… Longmire could be one such as those!

One of the best shows i’ve ever seen, sure wish Netflix would reconsider and continue this show. What happens to Walt and Vic, Cady, Jacob Nighthorse these are questions that need to be answered.

They should not end this series. My husband and I have had marathon watches on weekends. I love this. After the final episode my husband ask what we were going to watch now? This series is absolutely spell binding. We are now planning a vacation to go to Longmire days in August.
Please don’t let this awesome show end!!! Such a different kind of show with interesting characters and plots that never get old. So hard to find something as different and refreshing as Longmire. PLEASE don’t let season 6 be the final season!!!!

I love this show and have shared it with so many others that have also become addicted to it. WHY cancelled???? Please reconsider and bring the show back. This show is awesome!! One of the best series that i have watched in a very long time and would love to see many more seasons.
