TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Longmire should be renewed! The Glades should of at least had a proper finale!
A&E you keep making these kind of poor decisions and I won’t watch your channel anymore!
Don’t cancel it. There is still unfinished business. It has great writing, we love the characters and suspense. Why get ride of a show that has good ratings? Please renew for another season!
#YES,YES,YES. #LongLiveLongmire! PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE. Bring back Longmire if not A&E then smeone else. Remember ,Who ever picks up Longmire, will gain 6.5 million + viewers, now i know the ratings for the show is 6.5 million, but with all the publicity the show is getting you will pick up more viewers. So y’all stop and think ahead instead of back. AND GET SMART. BRING BACK LONGMIRE . #LongLiveLongmire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I am a high income consumer. I will be 70 soon. When I look at the demographics you want for longmeire. I find your logic crazy. People in the 18 to 40 demographic
Have college loans very little disposable income, and are moving home to live with parents.
Use your head and realize where the wealth is. All of my piers love Longmeire and canceling proves you have idiots as employees, your agencies have no clue. And your advertisers should not ever deal with these people again. Great creative people terrible business people.
bring back Longmire. we just found it and now it’s cancelled. great show. one of the only western type shows still on tv . we have to know what happened to branch. bring it back.
Finally a decent show with great actors and you canceled it. I am truly getting tired of reality shows. Longmire is great storyline. Please bring it back!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the best show on TV…..I looked so forward every week to see the next episode…I might be older but that should not count….ratings were the highest so why cancel???
I so agree. I loved the glades, and I pray longmire is picked up by another station. Why get rid of a show with good ratings????
You cancelled Glades and Longmire too. What is wrong with you people? T
wo darn good shows and you canceled them. You need to replace people that cancel good shows like Longmire and Glades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a huge Longmire series fan and was very saddened to hear the series was cancelled. Really loved that show and could hardly wait each week for the next episode. Sure wish it would continue. Until then I’ll just have to keep reading Craig Johnson’s Longmire books.
I do not understand why Longmire was cancelled. was a great show. we looked forward to watching each show every week. whoever made this decision should be fired. please bring back Longmire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We recently discovered Longmire on Netflix. We LOVE it, but we’ve watched the last episode available. Sure hope it comes back, or that they give us more episodes. Great show, great cast!
I am so sorry to see that A &E cancelled Longmire. It is one of the few intelligent shows to air on this network. I guess they feel it is more improtant to show those redneck “reality” shows that are too stupid for words!!!
Please do not cancel Longmier. It is the best program on TV.
I cannot believe this show has been cancelled. I always looked forward to the next week; it was well written, certainly full of suspense, and well acted. Now look at what we are left with–total crap, re-runs of long-cancelled programs and mindless reality programs. Well, A & E, you have lost a viewer. I certainly hope the program is picked up elsewhere.
