TLC has yanked Mama’s Boys From the Bronx from their schedule after two weeks on the air. The reality series revolves around a handful of thirty-something Italian-American guys who live at home with their moms in the northernmost boroughs of New York City.
According to TVMediaInsights and Nielsen, week-to-week Mama’s Boys dropped from 808,000 to 610,000 viewers at 10pm, and 817,000 to 563,000 viewers at 10:30pm. The cable channel has replaced Mama’s Boys with installments of Undercover Boss Abroad.
Castmembers have been encouraging fans of the show to petition TLC to bring the show back. One of the stars, Anthony Zoccolillo, wrote on Facebook, “You know whats funny TLC? We filmed all this great stuff about our culture, values, and traditions and you cut it all out and make them add all this nonsense then cancel us cause nobody liked what you told our production team to shoot.. what do you know about our Italian culture… let us be who we really are and then maybe we would have got better ratings.”
TLC commissioned eight episodes and four have yet to air. There’s no word on when or if they ever will.
What do you think? Did you like this reality series? Do you think that TLC should air the rest of the episodes?

Looking forward to the show but sad now it has been cancelled. My family lived on Arthur Avenue I was born in the Bronx but moved when I was small was hoping to see alot of the neighborhood that my family remembers.
This show is hilarious!! Bring this show back!! This reminds me of the good times when i was living with my mother!!
Sad, This show was great!!! It needs to be put back on the air!!! 2 weeks is not enough time….!!!!!
I’m really upset the show got cancelled! My boyfriend and I were really getting into it! He’s from the Bronx originally and was fully relating to their lives as an Italian-American in NY. I just texted the news of the shows cancellation, because we figured that last week it just was not on! BRINGG BACKK THE SHOWW PLEASE! ;(
Even though they were ridiculous and absolutely the biggest trainwreck Ive ever seen, I got a kick out of watching this show!!! Put it back on!!
I found the show very entertaining I’m gonna miss it!
So, lemme see, you show a couple (as in TWO) weeks of the show & dump it? And for what? A foreign Undercover Boss show? Are you kidding us? You didn’t give the show a fair shake at all. Maybe some more or better placed ads for the show? And maybe allow them to be themselves because I KNOW for a fact the way they were depicted had to be production’s attempt at making the show watchable when in this case they were dead wrong. Put the show back on the air!!!! NO show should EVER get cut in a… Read more »
THIS GIRL FROM THE BRONX WANTS THIS SHOW BACK ON WHATS WITH
YOU GUYS CANT YOU SEE A GOOD THING ??
Off all the stupid and boring stuff on TV – when you finally get something you enjoy then Whammo! It’s gone! You can’t make everyone like the same stuff – but those of us that do like it will support the advertisers…………..the audience will grow if you have more than two chances at it.
I loved this show – How can they take it off after only 2 episodes ….it was great to see the Bronx and the shops – how American thrives in small town atmosphere ——-and what was wrong with the show to merit this?
The real Mama’s boy:

They don’t live on Arthur Avenue either. The show is a complete fake.
That is just wrong. I enjoyed watching the show was looking forward with great enthusiasm for the next shows. You need to reconsider your bad mistake and finish what you have started.
Show was great. It was funny and if u r really old school Italian, u can relate. I hope TLC gives it a fighting chance. 2 weeks is not long enough to make a fair decision!
I miss this show so much! I loved it! Please bring them back!
Contact this web site below and place complaints with them. Select ” Other” for the TV listing as they don’t include Momma’s Boys of the Bronx. Maybe when the exec’s get these great comments that are posted, we’ll get our show back on the air.
