ABC has renewed Mistresses for a second season. The TV series will return next summer.
Based on a British series of the same name, Mistresses revolves around a group of four women who are in complex and sometimes illicit relationships. The cast includes Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim, Jes Macallan, Jason George, Brett Tucker, and Erik Stocklin.
The series drew relatively small ratings over the summer months, averaging a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.8 million total viewers.
It looked like Mistresses would be cancelled but then, ABC extended the actresses’ contracts, an indication that they hadn’t made up their mind yet. The network’s summer shows did pretty poorly overall so they’ll have at least one returning show next summer.

I am so happy that ur continuing mistresses!! I’m only sad that I have to wait till next summer to be able to watch it!! I love this show because its real stuff that’s happeneds daily.. no matter how much people like to admit it.. ppl are not perfect.. especially in the world we live in..

Yes! So happy it got renewed- since Desperate Housewives ended, I’ve needed another good drama! And I can’t wait to know who Savi chose, or if she even lives, and who got shot!?

Okay, so I just read that the Mistresses will be back next summer. Oh, such a long time to wait to see what happens. It looked like Savanah died but did she? I hope not. Yep, I like it better than any of the reality shows and better than Desperate Housewives, too.

I am so happy that Mistresses is returning next summer. The first episode had you hooked. The cast is amazing and the last episode had you at the end of your seat. I love all the girls on the show and I hope Savi does not lose the baby. But I don’t think things looked to good for the baby at the season finale. Very happy viewer
